Thanks for sharing PG. Siquijor is definitely worth a visit. It's a small, backward island and that's the beauty of it. Sissywise, I haven't seen any cute young ones yet. Siquijor boasts being "crime free" (where would a thief hide in this tiny island everybody knows each other?) and they have a 10 PM curfew for youths under 18, but you don't see many 20 y olds out at night either. For such a small place it has quite a few worth visiting attractions and my man @snoopdawg would like it here (he's amphibian!) as most those attractions (except the colonial churches) are water-related (beaches, underground river, tree that grows on a spring,...) The hotels are pretty basic and smallish and I picked an above average one but at first I had a room with weak aircon and the hot water runs out if other guests use it first. It has its own little beach and a wonderful restaurant and staff. There is one "5 star" on the island but is expensive. As mentioned by PG, the island is infamous in the PH for being home to witchcrafting black magic, but other than souvenirs with little ragdoll witches and love potions I havent met any wizardry.
