duke007
I am currently watching the second season of Mafia Dolls on Netflix, it is set in Columbia and is in Spanish with English Subtitles, as in the Queen of the South series I didn't realise how many episodes there are, I have watched 10 episodes thus far so now only another FIFTY to go. At this rate I will not only be fluent in Spanish but will be teaching it. 2 1 Quote Link to comment

As you may know i'm a Spanish speaker too, and am teaching QG in preparation for his upcoming Cuban expedition. He's a good student too. We three could start our own club! Spanish only! nobody would ever know what we were talking about... Although in QG's case i guess it wouldn't be too hard to decipher. But sorry QG, the new Espana Club will be a C.F.Z... RandiUno2
Looks like gansters are a popular genre among us mongers. Currently watching the new season of Snowfall. Still trying to work out whether its based on Freeway Ricky Ross or recently pardoned by Donald Trump, Michael "Harry O" Harris. Snowfall Tv Show Trailer - YouTube Quote Link to comment
RandiUno2
My other favorite is 90 Day Fiancee - Still waiting for a season where someone brings his Ladyboy fiancee to the US. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-isY3iRyF-8 1 Quote Link to comment
xyzzy
As usual my SiFi selection: Star Trek Discovery Season 3 (or all the the seasons if you haven't seen them). They do a pretty good job of not making you feel like you saw this plot before on some other Star Trek (except for an episode in Season 1. The Expanse Season 5 (or all the the seasons if you haven't seen them.) The 100 (7 seasons). You might need to be a SiFy junkie to get by some of the B movie plots. For All Mankind (the USSR lands on the moon before the US and things kind of go cold war downhill from there) 1 Quote Link to comment
Pdoggg
Many shows that I like don't appeal all that much to many of you. But Shooter is a show that some of you will probably like more than I did. It's only 31 episodes spread over 3 seasons. Quote Link to comment
stoolpusher
A movie that I have watched a few times now called " Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid " . If you are a fan of 40's black and white crime movies then its worth watching ( netflix probably has it ) , very well put together . 1 of the scenes on youtube : 2 Quote Link to comment

If you liked 'Informer' you will probably like a BBC series, 'The Bodyguard'. I think it should be on BBC iPlayer, and I think it's on Netflix. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7493974/ I was reminded of it because I got a leaflet through my letterbox today saying that a tv drama 'Triggerpoint', by the makers of Line of Duty and Bodyguard, is being filmed mainly in and around a mosque at the end of my road, so not to be alarmed if we see 'armed police' and action scenes being filmed around there. 1 Quote Link to comment

Quietguy
Those in the UK will probably have seen it already, but Line of Duty is worth watching. It's about an anti-corruption UK police unit. There are 6 series. I watched the first five in a week. The final series was on recently. Quote Link to comment

Quinn
Just started watching 'Greyzone' Nordic thriller - not too bad. Better than I've found on Brit TV. Tho' the Scan/Nordic etc film producers are having a heavy time of it from Netflix etc by wanting more productions churned out in less time. Article in today's Guardian. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6060992/ https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2021/aug/15/were-not-robots-film-makers-buckle-under-relentless-appetite-for-danish-tv 1 Quote Link to comment
