Michael Gambon has died at the age of 82, best known in the HP films as dumbledore, I loved him in films like 'Layer Cake ' and I think one of his best early roles in' The cook, the thief, his wife and her lover'

The lead singer of Irish band Aslan, Christy Digam has passed away today. If there has ever been a time where songs are appropriate to the times we live in, then ' This is' and 'Crazy World' will go down as 2 songs that are just right when you are feeling shite. If someone can find those 2 videos I be appreciative, thanks, R.I.P Christy

If you look at Hollywood history there is a big fall-out between black actors and others and alot went off and worked in independent films and it was nearly a decade later that Hollywood realised its mistake
-
It's sad that black actors like Brown were dismissed by Hollywood in the 70's and they had to look for independent films just to make a living

ROM glad you feel better, now do what most Irish do when feeling shite, get a nice cup of coffee and drop in a little whiskey and Dick's your uncle and Fanny's your aunt and you'll feel like fly over the fucking rainbow and straight into hell where you will find great company with BM's and other perv's and the rare gobshite -

I prefer blu ray discs as there is a special non-sctatch coating on the disc, and I have tried toothpaste and numerous cleaners to clean and repair damaged DVD discs, sometimes to disappointing satisfaction -

I notice that small production companies will not pay to change films to blue-ray and 4k instead of DVDs which is a shame as DVDs are now becoming obsulate as DVD can scratch easy compared to blue-ray disc -

I won't pay for Netflix or any other of those open choice platform's, as they control what you eventually watch, so I go to charity shops and old film shops and you can old amazing films on DVD and blue-ray. -
Well you find a nice Irish group like West life and leave the bollox's out there when there finished miming to their old tracks

The second film I love is in Bruges , Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleason are amazing and back at it in the Banchees of Inishmore (jeezus can't wait to see how well it will do at those Oscars) Third film is Goodbye Lenin, amazing film about family in East Berlin when wall came down, and how Western ideals came flooding in quickly. -

Tarantino made a good remake of inglorious bastards but i say the best version is original made in 1974 with Bo Stevenson and Fred Williamson who went on to work with Tarantino in From Dusk till Dawn
