Lod sounds like somewhere in Indonesia.  Maybe the J stands for Java?  Resistance Army?

oh ..the Airport was renamed " Ben Gurion International Airport"  sometime after .. its in Israel , but its known as " Lod Massacre " in the history books.

Im amazed that no one has this .. it was a pretty big deal at the time... these guys were really heavy duty. i think it was a suicide mission

I was thinking Yeats as the young boy with the stutter who made a speech yesterday mentioned Biden gave his some text by Yeats to help combat his stutter.  But on the news a few mins ago they mentioned who Biden quoted so I’ll leave it open.

At pub quizzes we generally guess Oscar Wilde if it is a somewhat witty quote. Unfortunately not the correct answer.  Nor is Byron, Shelley, or Yeats. Or Spike Milligan. 

I had not heard of this guy. Perhaps only the Irish know him.  Or I'm not cultured.
