Pdoggg
Which two losing U.S. Presidential candidates are the only ones to win more than 50% of the states, and in which years did this happen? I will guess McCain in 2008 and Romney in 2012 since the Repubs are strong in rural states with not too many electoral votes such as the Dakotas, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Utah, and Alaska. rxpharm
Al Gore is definitely one, as he lost to Bush II due to the electoral college rule. I can't remember the other one. Quote Link to comment
Pdoggg
I'll take a wid stab at whoever lost to Lincoln in 1860 and then Richard Milhouse Nixon one hundred years later in 1960 Quote Link to comment

Lefty
As most of us know, The Traveling Wilburys consisted of Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, George Harrison, and Jeff Lynne. They each also had a Wilbury name. They were Nelson Wilbury, Lucky Wilbury, Lefty Wilbury, Charlie T. Wilbury Jr, and Otis Wilbury. Match each of the band members with their Wilbury name. I guess not many big fans here of The Traveling Wilburys. Anyway here are the Wilbury names for each member of the band. Nelson Wilbury - George Harrison Lucky Wilbury - Bob Dylan Lefty Wilbury - Roy Orbison Charlie T. Wilbury Jr - Tom Petty Otis Wilbury - Jeff Lynne Quote Link to comment

ciobha
Which film was the only X-rated winner of a Best Picture Oscar? Clockwork Orange??? Quote Link to comment
SiamSam
Don't think "Clockwork Orange" was X-rated or a winner of a Best Picture Oscar but perhaps. I do know that "Midnight Cowboy" was X-rated and I believe won a few Oscars one of which might be Best Picture. Quote Link to comment
Pdoggg
Deep Throat? I will go along with Sam and vote for Midnight Cowboy. But think they may have also made an R version. Guess they didn't like Jon Voight getting sucked off in a porno theater? Quote Link to comment
