Should we repeat the GOTC in 2012?

Looks like the date will probably be set at Friday February 3.

Venue to be decided sometime in the future, but if anyone wants to throw in suggestions it's always fun to banter back and forth about that.

Yes it is looking like Friday, February 03rd, 2012 will be the date for the GOTC ll.

I think it is a terrific date. Last year it was February 04th and well attended. Perhaps this year DD007 will show up so he can take his own girlfriend there for her birthday rather than saddling us with the task like last year. Maybe we all need to get hit by a truck in Pattaya in order to obtain the right care and attention. :)

The next decision is where to hold the event. Pook Bar Soi 6 worked out well last year. The upstairs was entirely ours and it was very accommodating. The exterior front and rear balconies were also a plus allowing the smokers a place to go and others who wanted to engage in more quiet and intimate conversation like me and Lefty.

The upstairs renovations at Pook Swan Soi Buckaroo have been getting good reviews and this venue shows promise. We will check it out and compare to its' sister operation on Soi 6.

If any of you have other suggestions for a venue let us know but please support your recommendations with reasons why you think it offers something more than the Pook sister bars.

DT, petroleum is a word that has been with us since 1526 & gasoline/petrol a derivative. The word was only coined by you wankers in 1865 & it doesn't imply liquid fuel in any way, I would take a good bet that it is more of a company name, such as Vaseline, another by-product.

Petrol station makes far more logical sense. Your lot have just confused the rest of the world 'again' with your dumbed down, nonsensical baby talk. Has I've said before, please try not to bring 'our' English language down to your 'potty talk' level... Or we will have to take this to 'that other thread'!

Other than that, I think upstairs at Pooks, Soi 6, is the ideal venue with plenty of other 'conducive' bars scattered around (just in case anyone needs a 'takeout') & there's easy parking too in 6(1)... Plus there's a usable beach nearby if I need to collapse or sprawl out drunk somewhere... And besides, I'm no longer welcome at Pook Swan, anyway.

Seriously though, due to work (or should I say lack of it at the mo) the GOTC in 2012 would possibly be the earliest date I maybe could get back to the LOS but it would certainly be something to look forward too meeting old friends and new

Ocassionally, ther have been beach parties in Jomtien. I know on Loy Krathong certain vendors open at night and have private parties.

Now this is just an "idea". I'm not sure of the logistics involved or if indeed it is even possible. But if somehow Sally could organize on a party with her ladyboys right on the beach it would trully be a unique venue.

If others are interested in having another PPoP (Pattaya Perverts other Party) I think Sally's would be a good venue to consider. Last year we used Famous and it turned out well as the pre-game party to the GOTC.
