Should we repeat the GOTC in 2012?

I am touching down at bkk on the 3rd morning by 8.30 i think that i will finish the airport formalities (i hope that this time QATAR will not loose my bag again).A taxi from mr.Ts company will be waitting to bring me to Pattaya.

Bernie from Pals place will arrange that,and that is the place i will be staying.

I really very happy to meet my good friends there and all the new ones i am sure i will make...i believe that the gotc will be a success...

I will try and bring some ouzo with me for the party...that will bring the high of the action higher.

Siamsam and Lung since is your birthday on the 5th febr.both you will recieved a special present from me...and since my birhday is on the 24 march

i will like to bring it a little bit earlier so i could celebrate with you guys if you dont mind so it looks that on the table will be 3 cakes,i dont know how many candles the other 2 will have but mine will have only one.

Cheers SS it would be great to be there indeed. Alas so near and yet so far. If all goes according to plan I'll be across the border in Cambodia. But who knows, plans can change so easily in S E Asia.

Well don't count on easily locating Panicos in LOS. It is not an easy task for sure. :) We were both in Pattaya at the same time last spring and be damned if I could find him, reach him, call him!!! I even sent emails to Greece thinking they would find their way back to him in Patts. Nada!!! I was going to send out sniffer dogs. We ultimately missed one another and it was the second occasion we missed making contact, the first one being the GOTC last February when his Dad passed. If I cannot make it to the GOTC II next February it will be the third miss. Oh well, I guess I need to plan on a trip to Rhodes. :D

ANYWAY I BOOKED at the IRISH ROVERS at soi 6 i think (i like to be very near to the action,since i dont

know pattaya)from the 3rd until the 12th,then i am going to bkk to my favorite hotel (nana hotel)until the 17th...but if i will like it i could stay a few more days there.

I THINK that i will be the only greek staying at the irish rovers so it will be very easy to be found.

Ihope that sam will be there because i will hate to miss him again.

With the amount of guys in town at any given time from the various forums the opportunity for a gathering could easily become a monthly event, albeit not on the scale of the GOTC.

I hear there might be something going down early next month for example, 3 November has been mooted as a date for a gathering if anyone here is in town. I'll update when I have more details.

Yes Greece and the Euro are in a pretty bad state just now. Don't worry, any parties that happen while I am there will be well recorded and posted here on the forum to keep all you guys in touch with your second home.
