So what's the deal here, can they really be loved up and in a relationship after half a week or less or is it all delusion. What makes an otherwise sensible man call a p4p ladyboy his GF and actually believe it after a brief time? If a guy goes in (no pun intended) with his eyes shut, then yes, hurt may be only a step away. But in the right circumstances, with the right couple, I think its possible. And again, depending on that relationship and the people in it, determines if it will last. But lasting was not the question - if its two people spending time together, even p4p, why not be BF & GF? My own opinion on it is if he realises its all a charade and is just going along with it then fine. I think the trouble begins when guys believe the fantasy. Now when a guy meets a girl back in farang land, would it not sound a but unusual if he began to refer to her as his GF after 2 to 3 days or the same amount of dates. Maybe he would say I am seeing/dating someone or call her my potential new GF at a stretch but I know if a girl called me her BF after 3 days back home I'd feel pretty uncomfortable. But of course we are not talking about farang land in this thread, but instead about the land of the microwave relationship where things get done a lot faster in regard to farang/Thai relationships, So like in dog years maybe 3 days to some guys is the same as 3 weeks/months back in the real world and hence the comfort in calling her a GF after 2 to 3 days. It's like you want to mock people who might use the term. Honestly who cares if they do. If the guy is on holiday and things are good after a few days and he is enjoying himself and still has time left and plans on seeing his girl for the rest of his trip then why not. It completes the girlfriend experience. When you go home is a different thing as she may have new boyfriends and you just become a number.
