Kahuna
I think Reservoir Dogs, Jackie Brown and the Kill Bill duo are great films...Pulp Fiction is OK...Django and Basterds suck...Big time suck...He clearly lost the plot.......... Like Willie I also think Tarantino is a grade A asshole.................... Quote Link to comment
Hefe
Apparently there was a newspaper onboard the lifeboat and Mr. Hitchcock appeared in a photograph in said newspaper. Correct, you know your Hitch Sam.... Quote Link to comment

JaiDee
Cheers, PD....my first instinct went to Africa but Madagascar wasn't nearly long enough and Equatorial Guinea, while closer, had too many vowels! Quote Link to comment

Tomcat
Just came back from Quiz night in north Florida and ran into this doozy; Who was the very first supreme court justice of the USA? The quizmaster gave this hint; his initials were J.J. Was it John Jackson Quote Link to comment
pdogg
Was it John Jackson Think the last name was the first name of someone involved with the original Guess Bar. Quote Link to comment
Kahuna
This is a tricky question...But both JD and PD gave hints for the first chief justice...whose name I was once forced to commit to memory in grade school some 60 years back just for this quiz...But I ain't certain that the first chief justice was also the first justice of the USA Supreme Court which is what JaiDee asked...I think...And if PD's and JD's clues ain't for both the first justice and the first chief justice I ain't got a clue.................... But my guess for the first chief justice is John Jay....................... Thank you Mrs. Fry...........5th grade..................I'm sure she would be so proud of me now.......... JaiDee
John Jay indeed.......and actually, I would have had ZERO chance in that once, except for the fact that I remembered there was a John Jay Law school in NYC. In actuality I gave TOO much clue.......looking over my scribbled notes from last night what the quizmaster threw out there for his clue was simply "Both his first and last names started with the same initial".....so I was going through every founding father in my head trying to come up with something. Here's 2 more from last night; What is the 4-letter word for the steering wheel on a boat? And.....3 points for each correct answer......name the 5 longest interstates in the USA Quote Link to comment
rxpharm
Here's 2 more from last night; What is the 4-letter word for the steering wheel on a boat? I might know the boat question - is it the helm? Quote Link to comment
pdogg
And.....3 points for each correct answer......name the 5 longest interstates in the USA 80 has to be one of them. Probbly 10. Figure they gotta be east-west. I'll go with 20, 40, and 76 Quote Link to comment
