I suppose I have a bit of an advantage as I used to solve "The Sticker" cryptic crossword in the Daily Telegraph here in Sydney until they got rid of him to put in a syndicated puzzle and quite a number of years ago I did compile the occasional cryptic crossword for the Australian Crossword Club so am fairly good at jumbling and unjumbling letters in my head.

Anyhow the answer is "Yorkshire Pudding"

I’ll try some I’m fairly sure of,  North Korea, Russia, Mongolia, Vietnam, Laos, also likely Tibet as there is a dispute there between both countries.

Yes, also a few others up above Myanmar etc. Very small ones.

China would consider it a done deal and that Tibet is one of China's provinces.  The other 5 do indeed border China.

So far the collective wisdom of LBR got North Korea, Mongolia. Russia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Nepal as countries that border China.  There are 7 more.
