Tomcat
Forbidden Planet featured Robbie the Robot and was loosely based on Shakespeare Play the Tempest. Im sure Snick will get it Quote Link to comment
Snick
No, I thought I did . but when I went to verify my answer I was wrong....if you asked me the robots name That I would have gotten ! Quote Link to comment
JaiDee
Here's one big black dude taking on 4 little white guys from England; year taken? Quote Link to comment
deepthroat
I I think the actor in Forbidden Planet was Walter Pigeon. The special-effects for the Id Monster were provided by Walt Disney. But the name of the doctor? No fricking idea. Quote Link to comment
Lefty
Name two actors who starred in Apocalypse Now who were later in the same western mini series, and their character's names in both Not one of you needle dicks can guess this? Quote Link to comment
pacman
Not one of you needle dicks can guess this? This would involve watching the movie more than once... that counts me out. I think Robert Duvall is one of them, he was in AN & he was always popping up in westerns. I can only remember Marlon Brando & Martin Sheen being in AN & if I had to guess out of those two, I would pick Sheen. Duvall & Sheen & no idea of their screen names in either. Quote Link to comment
JaiDee
Again, I think the series was Lonesome Dove, some lame western series from the 80's......Marty Sheen may have been in it, really not sure as I never watched it. Quote Link to comment

JaiDee
Ok, while we are waiting for the science and movie/TV series people to answer, I have an NBA question for the sports fans here; Thaibound will surely nail it if he comes on. We all know Wilt Chamberlain has the most points ever in a game at 100.....he also holds places 3, 4 and 5. Who had the SECOND most ever, and how many did he score? Quote Link to comment
pdogg
I sucked at high school science, can we do some sports questions??? Name an NFL quarterback and two NFL receivers who later were elected to Congress. Quote Link to comment

JaiDee
Jack Kemp, QB Steve Largent and ....???? from Oklahoma, were the receivers. Black guy, can see him now but can't think of the name. Gimme a few mins to think on that one, no google! Quote Link to comment
pdogg
Jack Kemp, QB Steve Largent Those were two of the three guys I had in mind. For those who want to get technical, it is possible that Kemp never actually played in the NFL though. Quote Link to comment

The guy who ''guaranteed" a victory before the game was played? Quote Link to comment
