All I know is all stations east of the Mississippi start with W and all stations west of the river start with K except for a few that have been grandfathered in prior to regulation. The call letters are assigned to different countries  by some international group. All Canadian stations start with C even though I believe Canada has been assigned with a few other letters that they can use.

Very humble guy, avoids the limelight [outside of his ill-advised Rally to restore Sanity] and has a great program.

 

    As usual, anyone who can get on the bad side of those nitwits on FOX fake news is OK in my book, and all those people hate this guy.  They hate Maher as well and I think his HBO show is must-watch, he has on the best, most well-educated panels of any show on television. Also saw Bill's standup routine in Montreal in 2011 and here in my hometown last fall, he kills for 2 hours and sells out almost every date.
