The Buzz of the Next Trip.

Recommended Posts

For the last few years October and November have been very busy times in Thailand and particularly Pattaya for ladyboy lovers. So no doubt some of you must have tickets purchased, accommodation booked and maybe even some company organised. So is the buzz as great as ever or has the rush waned over the years?

To me the buzz is a great as it ever was,  I said to myself if I ever lost that feeling then it was time to stop going. I am in the groove now for this upcoming trip and simply enjoying that feeling of knowing I shall be in Pattaya soon.    :drinks:

Ohhhhhhhhh to be you for just a few hours, an afternoon or evening. What a ride. Second only to being Mr. Duke of course.

Don't know if I should comment as its been so long since I last ventured on the big silver bird to paradise but I know the times I did go each trip was, for me, just as exciting as the last trip was. I loved everything about it from booking time off from work, to booking the hotel, booking the flight, exchanging some money for the first day/night the trip to the airport even the flight was exciting...well the bits I was awake for anyway!. I never grew bored of the trip and hated when my time was up and I had to return to "real life" - although to be honest I was already planning and getting excited about the next trip......oh happy days, where did I go wrong??.

The Buzz will kick in for me when Cathay Pacific Flight number 358 leaves the tarmac at Ringway Airport 7 weeks today en route to Manila via Hong Kong, I will get another Buzz when I see my Mr T taxi driver waiting for me at Suvarnabhumi Airport 12 days later to take me to Pat-ta-ya

This may be weird but I get no buzz at all until its time to go .

In fact I only begin to look forward to things once the plane takes off .

Nothing beats the feeling of touching down in BKK and smelling the warm air knowing you have it all in front of you .

I can't believe I have been living here 5 and a half years now as time goes so quickly when your enjoying most of it.

When I wasn't I always looked forward to the buzz of a trip as it was a trip of fantasy land in a blur of passion and madness.

Now living a completely different than before lifestyle but normal by all accounts in Thailand I still love the buzz of a trip to Pattaya.

Being here is like living in a cartoon ( resist the photos Dukie

After so many trips the buzz is still there, but as others have said, it gets delayed.  For me the buzz starts to kick in an hour before touching down in BKK when I go to the lavatory to freshen up and pop a Cialis.  A quickly moving line through Immigration, getting my checked luggage with no issues, and a short line downstairs at the taxi stand add to my, ahem, growing good mood.  Then the rush really comes when the taxi is making its way up soi 4.  All the long stemmed beauties, the bars, the food carts.  Oh, yeah.  We're buzzin now!

buzz has totally worn off. I say this with a flight booked at the cheapest price ever.  I *should* be over the moon. Various things dampen it, like the junta and changing regulations and such. Reporters sent for attitude adjustment? Geez. But we'll see when I get in a plane. I'm pretty sure when I'm sitting in a taxi rushing along the motorway towards Suk and I'm looking at all the buildings and city scene that I'll be quite happy.  It's more like coming home than excitement at coming debauchery haha.
