brand new first timer

Hi. I have been curious about the Ladyboy experience for quite soome time but have been impeded by a relationship. Now I am free of that and want to have a totak ladyboy experince. I will be in BKK one night and the next 2 weeks in Pattaya. First of all, I have stories good and bad about this. If it is my "first"time with a ladyboy do you recommend a freelance or a "professional" for a first tiemr? I know that freelance is cheaper but I am concerned with their cleanliness. I understand that the professionals that work at the agogo bars are generally checked but I also realize I need to be "safe" as well. If I am first timer is it best that I be forward with that information and, sorry to sound so naive in this but I am, how do I approach and express my desire to experience it the first time. Is there a particular club that I should visit to find my "experience"? Thanks

Welcome aboard, great questions! :drinks:

If it's your first time in Thailand I would stick with the bars.

No reason not to tell a ladyboy it's your first time. This would be especially true if you want to experiment with bottoming.

On my first trip, I remeber telling girls it was my fourth trip, figured I would get better prices that way. But if you have no idea of Pattaya georgraphy and only know two Thai phrases the girls will know.

Have fun bro and u found great palce to ask all teh questions to prepare you for a trip you will never forget!

Why only 1 night in Bangkok and 14 in Pattaya? You simply cannot do Bangkok justice with one night. IMO you should try Bangkok for 3 nights and then head down to Pattaya for the balance of your trip.

Either way you should stay close to Nana Plaza Soi 4. There are a number of Ladyboy bars there. Obsessions; Cascade; Casanova; Temptations; and farther down Soi 4, Guess bar next to the Rajah Hotel. There are also numerous GG gogo bars and beer bars.

As pdogg mentioned if you are a first timer it probably makes sense to concentrate on the bars. However the entrance to Nana Plaza is full of LB freelancers especially as it gets later and after the bars close at 2am. At Nana Plaza you'll have an opportunity to experience both the bars and the freelancers. Also if you park yourself at the railings between (5 and 8pm) of either Lucky Luke's or Big Dog's you can watch the ladyboy talent walk in the plaza on their way to work. Both of those bars are at the entrance to the plaza across from each other.

My first time was with a sweet LB from Obsessions. It took me all of 5 minutes to go into the bar, find a gal, bar fine her and take her back to the hotel. I cannot remember ever being more excited in my life. I had gone to heaven without dying. First times are wonderful and indelible. I told her it was my first time and she thought that was cute. So go ahead and tell them if you feel so inclined. You have nothing to lose except perhaps for a few more baht.

As far as safety is concerned wear a condom and insist she does also.

Enjoy yourself and don't plan anything. Just go with the flow. And DON"T think too much. Once again I do recommend you spend a few days in Bangkok and not rush the Soi 4/Nana Plaza/Soi Cowboy/lower Sukhumvit experience. You won't be disappointed.

Welcome aboard esertratpol B)

I'd be inclined to agree with SiamSam with regard to staying a few extra nights in Bangkok as it's your first time.

Even though I'm more a fan of Pattaya myself, Bangkok does have it's delights and one night can be very different to the next. Many freelances loitering after hours close to the Nana Plaza entrance and outside the Nana Hotel opposite are from the bars anyway perhaps having returned from a previous encounter. To see this quantity and qualty of street hookers is a not to be missed experience. Do not be put off by the fact you may not be their first customer of the day as by then there's barely a virgin left in the vicinity.

Even though I've been countless times before I still sometimes tell them (if I don't know them) that it's my first time. It can add a sense of innocence to proceedings which I enjoy.

Remember, never leave your valuables unattended and take out only the cash you need for the night, plus perhaps a bit extra. In fact return to your room and lock the cards away as soon as you've finished with them and carry only what you can afford to lose.

When are you planning to make your trip?

I am going to be in bangko on June 13 staying at Dynsty Inn. I am going to finish a tattoo that I started the last time across the street from Dynasty. I have been to BKK several times just never did the bar or ladyboy thing. I figure I can find ladybot after I finish the tat work and enjoy that night. Then I travel down to pattay and will be staying on Soi 8. I have NEVER been to Pattaya so I want to expericne this. I will look for good ladyboy bars there. Any suggestions? nad thanks for the other replies.

Welcome esertratpol.... You'll find the best group of fellows on the 'net here to answer any of your ladyboy questions, best method to start is to read through the Thai forums & trip reports first to get some background.

A few quick notes.... safe sex always .... have your own condoms/lube ready to go, alcoholic drinks in tropical heat with jet lag being stroked by beauties & , believe it or not, you may not make the best impromtu decisions! Just be prepared beforehand.

Obsessions & Cascades are in Nana (is Casanova still open?).

Don't worry too much about meeting ladyboys in Pattaya, just go to the bars mentioned in the forum reports, know the going price for LT/ST, be careful with your belongings (ie., use the safe, don't carry around too much valuables) & try not to get really drunk in unfamiliar surroundings.... same advice for going anywhere really. Pattaya is a relatively safe destination, much cheaper than Bkk.

The forum has a whole section for the different bars in Patts, check it out & find the one you like best on arrival.

Welcome to the forum esertratpol :drinks:, have to agree with the other BM's about spending more than "One night in Bangkok" on your first visit.

A 3 night stopover in Bangkok would be perfect imho to explore what is a "must see" City and what it has to offer, you would then still have plenty of time left to enjoy the "Delights" of Pattaya.

Im sure there will be some "experienced" BM's who are also in town quite happy to be your "wingman" and help you out mate.

Have a good read of the forum, do your homework and whatever you decide, enjoy it to the full and Im think (in fact know) you'll be booking your next Flight back to the Land of Smiles as soon you get home :happy0064:

Casanova is still open for now - but it appears some big changes are coming down the pipe for the NEP bars. This thread has the news: http://www.ladyboyreview.com/forum/index.php?/topic/1231-the-future-of-nana-nep/

I think you may be arriving soon enough to avoid the changes - I would also go along with Siamsam's recommendation to spend a few more days in Bangkok. You cannot imagine walking into someplace like Nana and having access to 300+ lbs (including Guess Bar just a few blocks away). There is also a new lb bar in Soi Cowboy, called Cockatoo, plus the Patpong bars of King's Castle 3 and if you like postops, King's Corner.

I agree it is ok to say you're new, but be very aware of the pricing so you don't get taken advantage of. Also if you like to drink a lot, it is a good idea to pay each round before another - to avoid bill padding that some establishments practice.

Welcome! Some great advice here so far, I'll try to match the level of intelligence but as usual I'll probably fall short of the mark.

First, in regards to the BKK stop, I think you are perfectly positioned as things stand. BKK can be overwhelming but since you've already been, that's hopefully not going to pose any issues. But nonetheless your lack of experience will be more of a vulnerability in BKK than it would be in Pattaya, so one night at the front end in BKK is perfect, then get your experience with the scene in Patts and you can always return to BKK a few nights early on the back end of the trip, as you likely need to return to BKK for your flight out anyway. Ultimately, 3 or 4 nights in BKK would seem about the right mix, with 1 night at the front end and then another 2-3 at the back end before your flight home.

Bars in BKK have been well covered already, you really only need to know Nana Plaza and Guess Bar which is 1 block further down the street from Nana Plaza. Guess makes the perfect place to start every evening, and is the usual meeting place for BM's in BKK. Some never make it to the 2nd stop on the itinerary.

As for Pattaya, the usual suspects are Famous Bar, Anaconda, La Bamba, Stringfellows, Koyo 7, Obsessions/Kit Kat Club, Pook Bar Soi 6, Horny Bar soi 6, So What and Lucky Love soi 6, Pook Swan Bar soi buakhow, and then some rate the clubs of Walking Street like Hot Tuna, Linda Bar and Jenny Star Bar but I've never been a fan of any of the WS establishments. There are dozens of small beer bars that also cater to our girls with 2 or more girls on staff or renowned freelancers that drop in regularly such as Nong Bar on Soi Diana. There are a couple of nice little spots right up near you on Soi 7 or 8 that feature some nice LB talent such as Luxor Bar and Nice 2 bar.

You've got plenty of time to learn the landmarks or at least familiarize yourself with the hotspots if you just read the trip reports and bar updates posted on here.

Hopefully you can reach out again in late May and set up a meeting with an experienced BM that can give you a walking tour of the town, as it's really spread out. My first tour was with Khun Lefty and it was a blast. If I were in town I'd love to take you around the venues but alas it'll be January before my feet will touch ground in the Kingdom again.

Welcome, and best of luck to you.

Some great advice so far for you Esertratpol, not a lot more to add at the moment. All I would echo is read the trip reports and bars sections. There is a wealth of information there that should give you a pretty good mental picture of the scene in Pattaya. Then if there is anything you need clarification on just ask and I am sure you will get a prompt, informative reply.

Welcome to the forum, there is a good group of helpful guys here as you can see. Feel free to ask any questions you want at any time, and happy reading. :drinks:

thanks for all the excellanr advice and encouragement; I will heed it all. Now I have a question and it will sound like I don't know what the heck I am doing. What is bottoming? Told you I was brand new. Any other terms I should know about? Also, if I wanted a lady to stay with me all night just for the fun of it, amd I better off with freelance over professional just for the cost factor? I checked some of the pro sites and they want 12000 bht to stay. What is the best, most secure way to do that? Thanks in advance for the many responses I am sure to get. I will relate my experiences to all of you upon my return.

A Bottom is the receiver, usually in the bottom, the giver is referred to as the Top. There are many expressions, as you see them ask and we can fill you in.(not an expression of sex lol).

They are all professional remember, the girls on the escort sites ask for big bucks, you meet the same girl working in a bar or strolling around and she will almost half or quarter the price shown on the site. As was said before, best for peace of mind to take one of the girls from the bars for the first experience. If there is a problem then you have recourse in the bar.

Stick to the "bar" girls on your first visit buddy and forget the "escort" and "freelancers", as BB has said its the "peace of mind"

Take a look here for a read on the Bars

http://www.ladyboyre...rs-in-thailand/

Whether you choose to stay in Bangkok or Pattaya first I would advise these two bars to first find your feet.

Bangkok...The Guess Bar, you wont get hassled (much) so you will be able to find your feet here and relax, theres also plenty of cute girls to "take care" and knowing your "safe" with these girls.

Pattaya... La Bamba, totally hassle free so you can definately relax, the girls wont approach you unless you let on to them (most of the time), sit at the bar and chat to Nok behind the counter or Nancy or Cindy, all three are very "cool" girls that will put your mind at ease.

One word of advice though is if you are thinking of being a "bottom" is "do not" take Nancy "first" time or you'll end up in ORBIT

( Nancy is a very very big girl indeed :o)

Just my two pennies worth :hi:

Mr. Duke is absolutely correct about Guess Bar in BKK and La Bamba in Pattaya. However I think bigger venues with more ladyboys and customers might help you better get the lay of the land so to speak. I have gone into both La Bamba and Guess Bar only to discover I was the only customer. Even though the girls don't hassle you, nonetheless being the only guy in the bar can be a wee bit intimidating.

Try out Obsessions and Cascade in Nana Plaza in Bangkok. Both bars a fairly large with lots of girls and usually other customers. head up to the back rows, order a drink and just inhale the ambience. Take your time. Don't be intimidated and if you see someone or something you like then ask her over for a drink but do not feel obligated.

Fair point Sam, Ive experienced "same same" myself being the only customer there,

Maybe these Bars are the places to meet up with the "wingman" before moving on
