Pdoggg Posted November 4, 2023 Share Posted November 4, 2023 Visited Emmy Bar tonight and had a chat with Emmy, Teya, and Pla. The new bar should be an improvement. There will be a proper shorttime room with a shower. There is a mezzanine level. It's unclear if it will be part of the bar. Perhaps a VIP area much like the original LaBamba. Jomtien The Dog won't be at the new bar as the owner lives next door to the old bar. The Mapmeister is busy creating a map pinpointing the new location but it's only a minute's walk from the current venue. My bar on Jomtien Soi 3 is still open. Anyone who likes that place, please come. If you are taking a taxi to the new bar input "182 Soi Chom Thian 2" and the Bolt driver will get you there. The three toughest things things to move are the pool table,the freezer, and the physical bar counter. The company that provides the pool table moves the pool table. Emmy thinks it won't be that difficult to move the freezer and the bar counter. This will be her third move so she's clear about what's involved. More challenging is getting the new space ready. The first priority is dealing with the ground floor infrastructure so that the bar can be up and running. Tomorrow I have to move the bar to Soi 2. Tomorrow night I might open a bar in Jomtien Soi 2 if I can. You can sit and drink, there's music to listen to, there's a toilet, there's cold beer, there's a lovely Lady Boy taking care of you. But the pool table will be moved to Saturday the 11th.
