bumblebee
"Right mate, I'm off to Paddy Rice to watch the match (Sunderland v Man City) catch you back here in 2 hours." With that my straight mate(mmmm he does seem curious recently I have noticed) from the North of England heads off leaving me all alone outside the mini mart on Street 136. It's 9.55 pm and I have just finished a beer, the second... or is it the third since I got here at 9. I am feeling a bit worn our from last night, so I decide to head back to my nearby room for a couple of hours and met up with my mate back here in 2 hours. As I walk away from the shop, I hear a call, "BB (for sure it was my real name,BB is not that notorious in PP yet ) where are you going?" I turn to see one of my LB friends on her bike passing by. "Back to my room." I reply, "What about you?" "I am going to meet some ladyboys friends at the Rainbow cabaret." comes the reply. Music to my ears indeed, as the thought of killing some time in my room alone is not very appealing as it will break the momentum of the night, and also why the fook am I here, if not to enjoy the company of the lesser know members of our community. So before I know it, I am straddled on the back of her bike, inhaling the intoxicating fragrance of her freshly washed hair while being whisked through the darkened streets on Phnom Penh towards Street 172, (a 10 minute walk at most from where I was drinking) When we arrive, her friends have front row seats, an ideal opportunity to get some shots to show you guys one of the options for a night out here. The show runs from Thursday to Sunday and starts at 10ish for about an hour.
farangbah
Nice, "BB"! Those spontaneous twists are always the best. Just curious, if you know, the info on the back of that card, is it in Thai, or is Cambodian (Khmer?) that close of a language? PS -- I hope your mate is a Sunderland supporter. What a finish! It's Khmer indeed FB. He is a neutral, Carlisle supporter actually. Rainbows if a gay bar full stop, and no femboys from what I can see, so besides the cabaret the place would not hold much attraction to most of us. The show does attract a few LBs most nights, many speak little English. The LB performers are mostly students or ones with regular jobs in the day time from what I can gather.

bumblebee
KenW and I spent the second night in a row at the show last night. I am beginning to really enjoy it. It's not the same routines every night, they mix and match to keep it interesting. Some cuties performing of course, lets have a peek.
bubba
Nice report BB. Informative and the pics are great. Doubt that the drag show at the Rooty Hill RSL would be much better than the Galway one. But the name does lend itself to that sort of ending, na? bumblebee
A short clip, I am sure Ken will appreciate. I can see him running off to his local travel agent in Saigon as soon as he sees it.

KenW
Rainbow Cabaret still alive and well. Last evening PDogg, Soc999 (and friend), bubba, Rani and yours unruly were in attendance. Only a thin crowd, the usual gayboys and freelancers, a few tourists and maybe even a local expat. But nowhere near packed to the rafters like it was back 6 months ago. It's the season I suppose. Short and sweet show. I enjoyed it.
Soc999
I may very well head back there tonight for Julie (Julia?). I did get to fuck her last night- at least, that's who I was seeing when I closed my eyes and was bonking Sophia's ass.
Soc999
A few pics from last night's Rainbow show. I might be gunning for Julia of the never-ending-legs. Not sure if the girl in pic 1 is Gigi, alias Dr. No No No or Bubba's Misfire The show has a similar professionalism to the (alas) defunct Hema Cabaret in PTY. PD said it reminded him a bit of the productions that the Little Rascals used to stage. Nice one! :) I was impressed by the Clone of Kung's impression of Barbie Girl & of Nick Minaj. Looks like there might be some power behind this one.
