JaiDee
While waiting on the Mayan ruin, can anyone name which country this beach is in? Helpful hint; they were invaded during the Reagan administration. Quote Link to comment
JaiDee
Grenada ! Yups! That one made Reagan feel like John Wayne. Quote Link to comment
Tomcat
I was here at some time today and took these pictures...anyone been here.. its in the plaza of an inner City, the Capital of a State of some Country. The Statue is in front of the Train Station and the Iraqi taxi driver told me he was a King at one time around here yesterday it was 18c... above average i reckon for this place. Transport is easy , train , tram , bus or Taxi outside my Hotel Quote Link to comment

ciobha
I think Tomcat's answer might be Basel in Switzerland? I was there a few years back and it looks kind of familiar. Quote Link to comment
Patrick
I was thinking the B was from the german Deutsche Bahn, 18c seems warm for any part of Germany right now, but if it is Germany maybe the south could be that warm. I'll say Munich. Quote Link to comment
Snick
My pic was Mexico, Uxmal to be exact. Quote Link to comment

Patrick
18c really unseasonably warm for Northern Germany. I was once there for a trade fair in January...talk about foooking cold, especially after coming from Australia. 1 Quote Link to comment
Morrolan
Ok, I'll jump in the mix... what country is this town in? Is that in Romania Hefe? Quote Link to comment
Tomcat
i would say the Hefe pic is Hungary although the large palm leaf ,looks a bit more southern... but i will stick on Hungary Quote Link to comment
Patrick
Mr. Bumblebee is correct, specifically Billy Bremner's statue outside Leeds United's Elland Road ground, or the stadium of broken dreams as it has become for us long suffering Leeds fans these days. MOT 1 Quote Link to comment
Hefe
Is that in Romania Hefe? That's correct! This is the town somewhat south of Bucharest that has all of these strange mansions built by gypsy millionaires. I understand that visitors, & especially visitors with cameras are not particularly warmly welcomed , but with the internet & mobile phone cameras everpresent I can't see that lasting long. JaiDee
I am considering going to Romania this summer, seems like a poor man's version of the Czech Republic. Photo below is Millionaire's row in which U.S. state? Quote Link to comment
