SiamSam
Hint: One of the countries has since been separated. And what pray tell, kind of radio do you have access to while strolling home BB? Quote Link to comment
bumblebee
Hint: One of the countries has since been separated. And what pray tell, kind of radio do you have access to while strolling home BB? Think I recall Czechoslovakia being mentioned now that you give that hint SS. Just the radio on my phone, listening to the local Pattaya channels. Quote Link to comment
SiamSam
Yes Czechoslovakia is one of them. Quote Link to comment

JaiDee
60's TV trivia; We all know the leader of the gang of POW's in a German camp was named Hogan. Can you name 3 out of 4 of his sidekicks? Or all 4? {Bonus points if you can name the replacement for the radio operator in the last 2 seasons} Quote Link to comment
pdogg
The French guy was LeBeau, can't remember the Brit who was played by Richard Dawson (and the survey says), Can see another guy's face in my head but just can't remember his name. Much tougher question than asking for the names of the main two Germans in that show. Quote Link to comment
JaiDee
True that, but I am BIG Hogan's Heroes fan, my brothers and I grew up on that shit and I still have every season on my externals. I can watch them the same as I can still watch Seinfeld, IE you know every upcoming line but somehow it's still funny. And I get to use the few phrases of that Hun language I learned there when I talk to my German landlord :) Super-super bonus question; there was one POW in the early, B&W episodes from the first season, who only lasted for a few shows and didn't end up making the final roster; country he was from? Lefty would likely know this crap, if he's reading here right now. Quote Link to comment
pdogg
the Brit who was played by Richard Dawson (and the survey says), somehow the name Striker comes into my head but I don't thing that's right. and Armstrong for an American but don't think that's right either Quote Link to comment
JaiDee
SURVEY SAYS....... Wrong! On both counts. Damn, I guess I was the only one who wasted the started of the 70's curled up in front of the tube. Quote Link to comment

SiamSam
Ok so what is the western most country in the EU? Quote Link to comment
mikibyne
Portugal. The Azores islands are officially part of Portugal and the EU. Quote Link to comment
SiamSam
Azores is what I thought but if they are indeed part of Portugal then Portugal it is. Quote Link to comment
Snick
Dutch Antilles doesn't count ? ( Actually I looked it up, if you count overseas, then its France with St Martin ). Quote Link to comment
SiamSam
Can't go overseas Snick because if we do and keep going west we'd be back answering BB's initial question but making Cyprus the western most country in the EU. Quote Link to comment
mikibyne
Snick is actually correct. According to the EU St Martin, belonging to both the Netherlands and France. is the most westerly of it's 'Outermost Regions'. Apparently the Dutch Antilles are 'Overseas Territories' so not part of the EU. Quote Link to comment
