Just a heads up on the baht bus thing , we are working on Thai time , so it may be a bit early or late

well Archie, there are other 'Meet and Greets' in the early planning stages for around that time, obviously not definite yet... but something will be happening. Anyone who hasn't a clue about M&Gs, the were designed originally for 2 reasons, one of course to help Emmy and the other for forum members [of whatever forum] to meet people that they have known on the net, but not in person, a chance to put faces to names sort of thing. They never turn into big parties, and aren't really intended to be so. More of a get-together chit-chat sort of thing. Mind you they can soon liven up a bit...especially if Sunny gets a sniff of an opened beer bottle! We've had some very good ones really...in fact all of them... usually just a good civilised night out for around [usually] 10-15 people. The Katty bar is perfect for this sort of thing, small and intimate, and emmy is thankfully of the no loud music school of thought [i don't know who influenced her!] and the food her sister, or aunt, or cousin, cooks is to die for. [sorry...thai families still confuse me a bit...] all food is free, all that is asked is that people eating put a small tip in the tip box for the sister/aunt/cousin who spends ages preparing and on the night bbq-ing. a splendid time is guaranteed for all.....

I think the same PD . We even get guys call into the shop or call and whisk the cutie away for some fun and company away from all the hubbub of Pattaya. The ex-pats know how it works and where to get cheaper booze . Lets face it in any business you need a gimmick/draw card to get the punters in and with so many bars and massage shops out there , the guys in the know are way past being a bar fly for hours on end and still not getting lucky .... I can't see it changing back to how it was.

I see many more ladyboys coming into/leaving my condo than you would expect given the ratio of ladyboy bars to total bars. It appears that many guys who live here have given up on the bars especially when it comes to ladyboys. It might have to do with the added expense of drinks, ladydrinks, and barfines if all a guy wants is sex and doesn't enjoy bars. Might also be that some guys are not thrilled with The Walk Of Shame. Think many bars are now employing freelancers instead of salaried staff. Works out well for the barowner as it lowers overhead. But isn't a bad deal at all for a ladyboy who can hang out with friends at her bar, maybe score some ladydrinks or even a barfine but have the option to leave anytime on a "date". Probably the only losers are bar customers who walk into a bar filled with ladyboys on their phones. Thai Friendly is free. Some guys eventually upgrade their membership for convenience since with free membership you can only send one message every 10 minutes. not really Archie...it's just the way that they have worked out. it's actually better sometimes to keep them away from weekends particularly during the english football season. The planning committee... [me and Quinn!] did at one point discuss days and sort of thought that as most people either live here permanently or are on holiday anyway...then weekends don't come into it. Basically, what date or day people want...they shall get.

Thats good to know. When I am in Thailand, I spend almost all my time in bangkok thats just down to lifes circumstances. i usually take a 2 night trip down to Pattaya and usually in the middle of the week. I gather these meet and greets usually happen on a Friday or Saturday to maximise sales. Nothing wrong with that!!!

Good for him!! This type of movement is needed in Thailand as well. I know first hand how employers take advantage of their employees. Believe it or not, I am a union member whether I like it or not. There are pros and cons of my union but I think it is a net plus.
