bumblebee
I was chatting to PDogg yesterday, and the subject of websites came up. Eventually we concluded that a thread with useful website address could be of help to many of us. So straight of the bat, here is one I always use when traveling. http://wikitravel.org/en/Main_Page Saves lugging around heavy Lonely Planets. For those who cannot get near a TV to watch a live sports game, there is a good chance it will be streaming live here. http://www.firstrowsports.tv/ Anyway just something small to get the ball rolling, more to come, feel free to post all you have guys, this could be very useful to us all. dixon cox
Cambodia: One of the best websites for Cambodia, covering accommodation, transportation and other useful information, plus an excellent set of detailed maps can be found at Canby Publications. To obtain an official eVisa before arrival can be done online at the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs website. Quote Link to comment

Funny enough I was just of that site before I checked in here. Great site for any visitor to Cambodia, and their publications are top notch, could teach Los a lesson or two. Quote Link to comment

beijo
Here is one website I use frequently : hotelscombined.com it puts most of the hotel search engines together for an easy comparison of prices and taxes. RX - i agree with you, i would not get on a flight without having checked the seats on SEAT GURU Quote Link to comment
Hefe
+1 on seatguru, very helpful. I find ITA to be pretty good to get a broad idea of plane fares for, say, a month long period http://matrix.itasoftware.com/ For any music/stereo equipment interests I go to audioasylum.com it's pretty geeky but real helpful, for example I am trying to set up a music/video server for my hifi system & it's a great resource. RocketSquirrel
I often check flights on kayak.com, but I usually buy from the airlines directly. Still a fan of tripadvisor.com combined with agoda.com for hotel reviews. Quote Link to comment
Hefe
I find this site really useful for saving web pages that I want to read later, maybe on one of my other devices as well, or clipping info or creating a "notebook" of items I have created or collected on a subject that I'm currently interested in or researching: http://www.evernote.com/ Quote Link to comment

Same here, shame really. Kahuna used to use it a bit I hear. Obviously someone was pissed with us getting free sports. It was only sport, never saw any dodgy porn on it. Quote Link to comment

pdogg
Here's a website where you can calculate how many days there are from one date until the next. Useful for calculating the end date of a 60 day visa but make sure to check the box which includes the end date ( bottom left) if using for this purpose. For calculating the number of nights in a hotel you would leave the box unchecked. http://www.timeanddate.com/date/duration.html On other parts of the website you can see the time anywhere in the world. Since different countries start daylight savings time on different dates it's not always easy to remember how far apart in time two cities are. 1 Quote Link to comment
