bumblebee
You're a bunch of pervs, I'm humbled by your knowledge I'll buy you a happy meal when you're in town One of the benefits of spending long spells in Patts is it gives us time to explore the more out of the way places. Think I'll pass on the burger offer 360 thanks, looks like something more up Ciobha's street.

bumblebee
This one should be fairly easy for any dedicated soi stroller.
ciobha
Not sure of the name, but I believe that is the soi that runs between buakow and 2nd Road, takes you out roughly at the top of soi 8.

Yup, it widens out at the 2nd Road end with bars/ shops either side and a central row of bars in the middle. This shot at the beginning of the bars looking down towards 2nd Rd..... It looked like a place worthy of more night-time exploration on my last trip...
xyzzy
I've always heard it refered to as Soi New Plaza. The home of cheap beer prices. https://maps.google.com/?ll=12.934487,100.886625&spn=0.00195,0.005102&t=h&layer=c&cbll=12.934493,100.886625&panoid=eGRER4xrvVneMPr9XEc3lw&cbp=11,310.23,,2,-0.16&z=

bumblebee
Well done guys, handy one for sure. How about the location of this one. Not the kinda of place you would pass by on a casual stroll.
xyzzy
That's where Kim, yourself and I enjoyed a drink in the upstairs open bar Xyzzy Yes indeed, right here as I recall. https://maps.google.com/?ll=12.934566,100.886306&spn=0.000975,0.002551&t=h&layer=c&cbll=12.934567,100.886306&panoid=RFx-kb06Zq_684sObnUnew&cbp=11,55,,0,0&z=19
ciobha
Not sure of the exact location BB, but if I recall, we went there one night a few years ago. It is just off Jomtien Beach Road, if it is the same place I am thinking of??
bumblebee
Not sure of the exact location BB, but if I recall, we went there one night a few years ago. It is just off Jomtien Beach Road, if it is the same place I am thinking of?? I know where you are talking about this is not it, good guess. The mystery photo was taken somewhere off Second road between Soi Diana and Pattaya Klang. That should help the eagled eyed among you. BigTel
Could this be the rear end of the "Made in Thailand" complex.
thaibound
i believe... if you were to pan right, you'd see a 7/11 and then the Evergreen. pan left and you'll see the rear entrance to the new pool hall in the middle of the old Avenue. bumblebee
And of the above two, one is spot on. Well done BigTel.

Guest Route65
Could this be the rear end of the "Made in Thailand" complex. I doubt anyone knows more about rear ends than BigTel... Ahem.
thaibound
i have to agree, kudos to bigtel... though perhaps if the particular rear end depicted had been a bit smaller -- or better yet, anorexic -- i might have had a clearer memory of it... azza33
Pattaya klang. Across the road from soi bukhao intersection ish.
bumblebee
Pattaya klang. Across the road from soi bukhao intersection ish. Spot on Azza and more importantly the entrance to the soi that has that excellent chicken shop about a 70 m up on the left.
azza33
Actually a good little soi.. Used to go via this soi to Citin loft when i stayed there and is also the back way to soi 6. A few bars & plenty of eateries to boot.
azza33
Probably should mention that khao nieow ma muang (sticky rice and mango) is a specialty on this corner.
SiamSam
This is obviously the entrance to Sunee and since it's Thais writing English they misspelt "slope".
bumblebee
Not a million miles away, young Sam... I think we need some background zoom out to help us R67.
bumblebee
South of Soi Honey and not far from Sunee mmm...that certainly narrows it down to a quarter of Pattaya. Hats off to anyone who can nail this one.
