bumblebee
Just want take a moment to say a personal thanks to all you guys for your continued participation on the forum. Along with our regular posters we have had a few new members posting recently, you know who you are guys and it's much appreciated, cheers. I just feel we shouldn't have to wait till the end of the year to thank members. It should be done from time to time to show we are aware of the time and effort you guys take to post while going about your daily lives wherever that may be. We have had some good momentum lately and fingers crossed with your continued help we can keep the forum informative, interesting, up to date and get readers coming back. Thanks again guys and take a bow. (no not that one Duke, you have such a one track mind.) Well done everyone, onwards and upwards. 4 Quote Link to comment

bumblebee
I like to see the forum as a team effort. We all play our part to make it what it is. To be honest if it wasn't for this forum I think I would have drifted out of the LB scene. I just don't get the buzz out of it (ladyboy world) that I used to, but knowing my friends, can be found in one place online makes it worth sticking with it here. There is something comforting about seeing familiar names that I have shared the best of my LB years with in one place. Thanks for being a great bunch guys. 1 Quote Link to comment

duke007
You reminded me of this song BB & Willie I've been walkin' these streets so longSingin' the same old songI know every crack in these dirty sidewalks of Broadway Where hustle's the name of the gameAnd nice guys get washed awayLike the snow and the rain There's been a load of compromisin'On the road to my horizonBut I'm gonna be where the lights are shinin' on me Like a rhinestone cowboyRiding out on a horse in a star-spangled rodeo Like a rhinestone cowboyGetting cards and letters from people I don't even knowAnd offers comin' over the phone Well, I really don't mind the rainAnd a smile can hide all the painBut you're down when you're ridin' the train that's takin' the long way And I dream of the things I'll doWith a subway tokenAnd a dollar tucked inside my shoe There'll be a load of compromisin'On the road to my horizonBut I'm gonna be where the lights are shinin' on me Like a rhinestone cowboyRiding out on a horse in a star-spangled rodeo Rhinestone cowboy Gettin' cards and letters from people I don't even knowAnd offers comin' over the phone Like a rhinestone cowboyRiding out on a horse in a star-spangled rodeo Like a rhinestone cowboyGettin' card and letters from people I don't even know 2 Quote Link to comment
bumblebee
Lol Duke. Parts of the first verse ring true. But you know what, like WTP says it's the friendships built up over the years in the scene that are important now. This has been mentioned on numerous occasions over the last year or two. The ladyboys and their bars are secondary to me now but it's great to be able to connect online with all you guys who I know and have socialised with and who are on the same wavelength. pdogg
I like to see the forum as a team effort. We all play our part to make it what it is. It's certainly a team effort, everybody contributing in their own unique way. I'm extremely pleased that we have kept our friendly tone like your local neighborhood pub. So a big thank you to our group of 60-70 core posters. And a warm invitation to others who want to hang their hat here and hang out! 1 Quote Link to comment
cobber32
Its a nice, friendly place to be, and due to the posters themselves, and the staff, it hopefully will continue to be so. Thanks all round; I'm not a frequent contributor, but I do enjoy the site. Thanks again to all. 1 Quote Link to comment
