JaiDee
In 1800 what was held for the first time in Washington DC? My initial thought was "the swearing in of a president" but there was no new term started in 1800 so that can't be right. I will go with "first official 4th of July celebration" Quote Link to comment
pdogg
My initial thought was "the swearing in of a president" but there was no new term started in 1800 so that can't be right. I will go with "first 4th of July celebration" We had Presidential Inauguration written down but then we concluded it would have been in March of 1801. But 4th of July celebration is not correct. Please try again. Quote Link to comment

JaiDee
For some reason I was under the impression that question related to someone from the 1700's, probably due to the Bligh/Mutiny on the Bounty connection. Never thought of the adulterer-in-chief! Quote Link to comment
