Kahuna
Not working all the well for me... It won't allow me to edit a quoted post without some trial and error...Usually error...So I simply give up and don't post anything... It still needs some tinkering I think... Quote Link to comment

4:17
Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation. ... With just enough of learning to misquote. 555 I got a million of 'em. Quote Link to comment
pacman
Hey fellas, the quote function is playing up again. It works but as soon as you try to edit inside the box, the cursor can't be moved outside the box. I can normally work around it but not today. Maddening. Quote Link to comment

pdogg
Working OK for me. Here's what I suggest Paccers: 1) Clear your cache. This seems to solve many problems. 2) Delete Ladyboy Review cookies. this is a great article, just use ladyboyreview instead of nytimes. http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/424/view-nyt-articles-without-subscribing/ 3) then reboot your computer. 4:17
Another option is to use the little button in the left hand corner of the top toolbar, the one that looks like a light switch. This will give you the option of editing the code directly. To wit: Then you can quote whatever you wish, by adding quote tags in [ ], manually editing the quoted post the editor dumped into your post, or whatever code you want to tinker with. And viola: Then you can quote whatever you wish 2 Quote Link to comment

If you clear out your browser's cache and the relevant cookies, you should be able to get away with only closing and relaunching your browser, as opposed to rebooting your entire computer. Myself, being the nerd that I am, have my browsers set to empty their cache and cookies every time I shut them down. This keeps them happy and healthy; the digital equivalent of prune juice, as it were. And remember, for those of you worried about this sort of thing: cookies are one way of determining what you've been up to online -- how The Google keeps track of where you've been, etc. Your browser cache would also indicate where you've been, should the authorities/your wife/girlfriend/boyfriend/kids snatch your computer and snoop around. All those porn sites you visit? All those jpegs are in a temporary cache on your hard drive. ... Quote Link to comment
