  1. No, he claims it's an interview with a different group of lbs - this time working with an escort agency.
  2. I remember a while ago there was something about stickman breaking up/divorcing his Thai wife - I wonder if that has anything to do with this change of attitude to lbs? Never try, never know!
  3. Yes BB, it is something you ought to attend at least once during your adventures in LOS! Best done with an lb date who can interpret some of it for you. More talent. . .
  4. There's another way to remove posted photos instead of editing the post, go into "my settings", which is right beside your user name just on the same line as "Sign Out" and above the search box. This brings you to your control panel, where you can manage all your attachments. Choose the one you want to delete by checking the box and then go to the bottom to click on the box "delete selected".
  5. Unlikely unless they occupy the airport again. Doubtful they would try this as it really hurt the economy last time the anti-Tha***sin group did it. So far everything is peaceful, let's hope it remains that way.
  6. Good advice ciobha, the private hospitals will not treat you if 1) you do not have insurance or 2) you do not have the cash (they will take credit cards). Going to a government hospital is a crapshoot as the best doctors work in the private hospitals now.
  7. Last of the impromptu questions and then talent for the final 10.
  8. Note, I said most - not all - US, Canadians, UK, Australians, etc. don't get covered out of their home country. You happen to live in a country that has excellent national medical insurance coverage. If you don't get out of country coverage from your national insurance plan, travel medical is a must. Also are you sure your Visa card provides travel medical, versus travel insurance? Those are two different things. Travel insurance covers delayed flights, lost luggage, etc, but not health care costs.
  9. Buying travel medical insurance is a must. Most people's home country medical insurance only cover you while you're in country. If you are working ex-pat, the medical insurance your company provides may cover you on overseas trips - be sure to check. If you don't have travel medical you're taking a gamble. If you fall seriously ill it could cost you a lot if you need to go to a hospital. For example in 2012 I had to spend 4 days in hospital in Bangkok because of a severe asthma attack. Total cost was 3000 USD, including all my medications. My travel medical insurance covered all of it. There are many companies that offer travel medical - if you make more than one trip a year out of country, look for companies that offer a flat rate per year, as it should be less than purchasing for the individual trips. Also be sure to buy from a reputable company. The worse thing would be trying to save money on insurance and then finding out they won't pay when you're in the hospital, or will only pay you when you get back home and submit receipts. Use due diligence and be willing to spend a bit more to get reliable. good coverage at a reasonable price.
  10. Possibly a slip of the key and he may have meant "Patty".
  11. Of course DT, you know some people like that sort of style - and others pine for the old Hi Boss short time rooms!
  12. Some more awards, and then impromptu speeches to for the final 10 to narrow the field down.
  13. The photo above with the bikini wearing lbs were a comedic intermission - they would come on periodically and do a routine that brought a lot of laughs - unfortunately I didn't get the chance to have their routines interpreted. Presentation of special awards, like Miss Congeniality, photogenic, etc. The presenter in the photo above is Miss AC/DC 2011 - quite the looker and you'll see more of her later.
  14. more evening gowns - as you can see many are not as glamorous as the contestants in Miss Tiffany Universe, but this contest really doesn't focus on glamor as much, as they do creativity, talent and intellect.
  15. More evening gowns - the winner of best national costume went to Miss Greece in the previous photos - made up to look like a Greek statue!
  16. Yes they have the same owner Eroticadventurer. Cockatoo is the first dedicated lb bar in Soi Cowboy.
  17. Rukki, it's a bit of a different mindset being with a postop - there's a certain excitement that a gg can't bring into the equation - the fact you know the gorgeous woman you're with use to have the same plumbing as you did bends things a bit. Also if you take the time to really please her, with skilled and prolonged foreplay, she will generally deliver much more back to you than a gg ever would. Generally a postop lb also delivers a better bj than a gg as well - (generally but not always). I cannot give you a recommendation, as it is a chemistry thing as well. You need to spend time to see if there is that "spark". Also I've been out of the bar scene for about 6 years now, as I've got a regular gf.
  18. Swedeman - why do you think they would change from standard farang customers to "Arabs" and such? You do know the majority of farang p4p tourists are after gg action - postop lbs would simply move into that customer base. It seems that you have an inaccurate view of the customer base for postop lbs. The determining factor is how well did the doctor do with regards to the SRS surgery. If the postop lb can retain her ability to orgasm, her postop vagina appears good cosmetically, and in some cases even self-lubricate - they will really enjoy having sex. These lbs will generally be well adjusted and eventually get out of p4p. If on the other hand she loses sensation, the ability of the lb to adjust is not as good. Lbs in this situation may become depressed and if the cosmetic appearance of the postop vagina is bad - perhaps even suicidal. Something that a lot of people don't know, p4p lbs who have had SRS are instructed they should not have sex until at least 2 months postop. However, many of them go back to work sooner, and this is before the vagina has fully healed. In addition nerves may not return to delivering full sensations several months postop. This contributes to impressions we get that "many" lbs regret SRS. All this is anecdotal as well, but having had experiences and knowing 50+ postop lbs over the years, this is what I've encountered. If an lb you know wants SRS, she should not try to save money and go to a "cheap" doctor, she should have her operation done by the best SRS doctor or not do it until she has saved up enough. Currently the best is Dr. Suporn in Chonburi.
  19. A grim reminder that Thais are not always as tolerant as we think they are. Condolences to the family of the lb, and I hope that justice is served in this case. This should also be a stark warning that life is "cheap" in LOS - so watch out you never get yourself into a situation where you cause a Thai to become angry to the point of fighting.
  20. This sounds like one of the conspiracy scare articles. If you actually believe this theory, you can take the battery out of the phone when you're not using it. If the phone has no possibility of receiving power there is no way for it to generate a signal to be "tracked". Or better yet, get rid of your cell phone entirely if you want to be "off the grid". If this was true, they should have found the Boston bombers much quicker than they did.
  21. If you already have a Facebook account, log in and then you will see the page for Temptations Bar.
  22. Good news for anyone who has a Star Alliance Gold (or higher) status with their frequent flyer program. You can check in at the Star Alliance Gold counter (rows B10-14) for the past few years, and then go around to the back of Row A, and use the VIP security and immigration counters. This is a great way to avoid the long line ups at the regular counters. I only discovered this on my latest trip to LOS. Unfortunately I don't think this applies to entry yet, but they have gotten quite efficient at processing the big line-ups on entry.
  23. Hoot, thanks for the clarification - that's a much friendlier term of service than they originally had. As for discussions here, no one is suggesting this forum is looking to "steal" anybody's photos - but one cannot predict what can happen in the future, if there are any changes in ownership, one never knows. No one ever thought TLF would go down the route it did either. These discussions are useful to prepare for a worst case scenario, while hoping it never happens.
  24. Hoot's solution is sound, except Flickr then owns your photos - and generally don't allow pornographic photos to be uploaded. What you need is your own sharing domain where you can upload your photos and decide to link them to forums if you desire. If the situation changes, you can simply move your photos around in the sharing domain, which breaks the link and the photos will disappear from the forum. DIxon is relating some of the history of TLF (The Ladyboy Forms) which developed out of the Asian TS Website. At its height it was the busiest lb forum around 6-7 years ago. Unfortunately the owner made a format change that resulted in major problems, causing him to give it up. The forum is still open as Ladyboy Quest Forum, but very quiet as people tend to associate it with the former owner. It is no longer a pay system. Any former posters who want to get back in are welcome to, with most sections of the forum wide open except for the photo gallery and trip reports which are limited to Trusted Members. As for not being able to edit posts, it is policy of many forums not to allow unlimited editing of posts - as they can lead to problems following threads. Generally there is a time frame usually around a few days that you can edit a post, and then it is locked, or may give a message the post has been edited.
