That's a little brutal but I assume you have your reasons. In my 5 years involved with LBs and the various forms I have found: People take this shit too seriously Opinions are varied Postings are often misunderstood I have met BMs that I did not agree with on the forum but turned out to be good guys. There's a ton of basement wankers who become keyboard Cowboys just to provoke confrontation I have read countless post where I did not agree and the poster came across as a real asshole. However I have not encountered anything that would call for a physical response. Especially after living in Pattaya for a year I have found that in 99.99% of situations in Thailand it is far better to walk away and avoid confrontation. There's another hot LB just around the corner who would be happy to help you to relieve any frustration or anger.

Some attempt to excuse racism and personal abuse as banter or 'British' humour. But it shouldn't be allowed on public online forums, and isn't on most. Yes we all have different opinions and everyone is entitled to their views, but they should be expressed in a reasonable non-abusive way. I agree that posts are often misunderstood. It's more difficult to get the way a written post is intended than when we speak to someone face to face and can judge their intent by body language and facial and tonal expression. Even where we speak a common language there can be cultural differences which can cause misunderstanding. I often don't get what an American or Australian is getting at although we both speak English. (Canadians are ok Soju!)

Hi @Twest. Sorry but there were way too many racist posts for me to remember them all, I'd rather forget them. But I will give you just one example. On the Brexit thread one BM posted the flag/insignia of a neo-fascist UK group, 'Britain First'. This was not removed by the moderators. It was later deleted after the poster became a Moderator himself, presumably by himself to cover his tracks. btw Welcome to lbr, good to see you here.

I understand I am a new guy here and I don't want to start a shit storm. But I thought the forum was a place to express opinions on a common subject. I believe I can choose to post as I wish just as you can choose not to read it.

I do not agree. Unless you know of postings that I am not aware, I have found that racism is not tolerated on LBP. Yes, I am an advanced member and substantial contributor. I am not promoting or attacking LBP, simply expressing my opinion. Keep in mind it is a lot easier to manage and control a board with a few hundred members than one with 119,000+ members. I would not be a moderator on a large site for love nor money.

My guess is you were born in .... say: 1967 ? which puts you in the same 50+ year old boat I find myself in as regards Miss Congeniality: we are too fucking old for her to give ass AND GFE at 1000 a pop. As you said "much metadata can easily be extracted from a pic" and I believe you reverse-searched the one I posted above of her from Facebook and thus found her account and her B-started name translated from Thai ("Baby Bamboo Leaves"). Moreover, I am not the only punter with an eye for talent and a few weeks back she was briefly featured (including contacts) in one of the BKK bar threads at PY, where you probably also read about her. Well done for not reposting here one of the pics posted there, as I would have busted you big time. As far as I am concerned, I don't need any info via here to hook up with her (my BKK wingman "The Kingpin" is oldfriends with her and is currently fucking her blonde BFF). bbg wasn't referring to you Twest, but to another BM Rom. Feel free to post what you want to. There is more tolerance of different views on here. We don't generally get into namecalling or insults. The mods will step in if there are. But racism quite rightly isn't tolerated.

Since field reports dealing with Phuket have been rare, I add a short comment found in a forum in a forum language. That doesn't say much but better than nothing. It seems the guy hadn't planned to stay long in Patong and was probably on a family trip. No new since he posted this comment 10 days ago.

Did he know who you are in the forum world ? I tell you what, it's worthless to talk about this fellow. The fundamentals of forums should be to share reviews and improve information. I admit, I keep more and more information confidential. I noticed (not at LBR but in ladyboys forums generally speaking) that guys get a great "reputation" posting only comments and never bringing new info based on their personal experience. This is why I came to create blogs, either confidential or open blogs or derived websites. I like my "fake mini forum" in which BMs are not allowed to post. I post information I don't want to post somewhere else, or I store information I will probably post mo,ths or years later. I can adapt each subforum to a new target of people witgout they know that other sub-forums exist.
