Just a reminder for the guys in Patts now that there is a party in Horny Bar tonight starting from 6pm (must be almost that time now in LOS) to celebrate the change of ownership. Wish I could be there.

Until the end of August, G's Bar on Street 136 in Phnom Penh has a happy hour special (until 8PM) where cold draft beer is just 50 cents. That's 15 baht! After 8PM the price goes up to 30 baht. Not sure what the price will be in September. There are no ladyboys at this bar but a good place to chill, more comfortable than other bars on the street. You can play the music you like as Youtube videos.

No LBs there but if its close to Candy Bar (also on 136) that was THE LB bar in PP imo as I saw more in there than any other bar by a long ways

Stayed at the Billabong in December 2012 : Good room, nice pool, five minute walk to the "Heart of Darkness" disco. But - - - when I checked in the first thing the receptionist told me was : No guests from outside !

Been to PP on Sep 2012, booked Bilabong hotel first time and they do have the 'no guest policy', and I did not like it's location, and rooms (they look far better on Agoda then they really are) I replaced it with the golden house, which have better location and I can recommend it for a nice clean basic hotel.

It was my birthday 2 days previous to Lita's and a cake was purchased to celebrate it. Even though I was thousands of miles away at home. A lovely thoughtful gesture and much appreciated. Wish I could have been there to sample it, among other things. Cheers DK
