Need a room in central Pattaya

Recommended Posts

First time poster but I’ve spent five 3 week trips to pattaya and now coming back for another 3 weeks. 90% of my precious trips I’ve been with females thru ThaiFriendly. Looking to check out the wild side and do mostly LB’s. Here’s what I’m looking for ideally:

1. Looking to spend 1000b or less per day

2. Must have air conditioning

3. Must have elevator

4. Must have room safe

5. Prefer not to have a walk of shame where everyone gives me a dirty look as I escort my LB up to the room.

6. Prefer central Pattaya

Flexible on the money and location but ac, elevator or ground floor room and room safe is mandatory. Can you guys please offer Suggestions?

Thanks

Hi Oral Anxious, welcome to the forum!    :hi:

It sounds as if one of the Soi 15 condos would be right up your alley.  Soi 15 runs between 2nd Road and Soi Buakhao.  There is a different Soi 15 near Walking Street.

They all have AC, elevators, swimming pools and small gyms.   These buildings are all less than 10 years old so the rooms are modern and have kitchen facilities.

Every room is a little different but most gave safety boxes; you would have to inquire about the specific room.

Walk of shame is minimal and each condo is slightly different.  Some have no staff that you would be walking by.   Some have a security guard and leaving an ID is optional.

These rooms would rent for about 18,000 baht a month plus electric, water, and room cleaning.  Electric is highly dependent on how often you use the AC.  Water charge is minimal.   Cleaning is the big issue.   You have to pay if you want your room cleaning and sheets changed.  If you are the type of guy who wants fresh sheets everyday then this might not be a good option for you.

Condo rentals are supposed to be for a minimum of one month but sometimes I see them online with a daily rate but the daily rate tends to be somewhat expensive.

Probably best is to take a monthly rental and you might be able to negotiate a better price if you guarantee them you will be leaving after 3 weeks.

Many realtors handle monthly rentals at these condos although some only deal with rentals of 6 months or more.

Some of the names of these condos are City Garden, Urban, Avenue Residence, Centara Avenue, and Grand Avenue. Grand Avenue is a recently opened condo project of 6 buildings which is causing a glut of inventory on the Soi 15 market.

Here is a link to a realtor that has an user friendly website.  Good starting point to search condos.

Hope you enjoy Ladyboy Review. We are a friendly bunch here so please ask if you have questions.

When are you coming?   More rooms are available as the year progresses.

Welcome to the forum @Oralanxious. I wouldn't worry about the 'walk of shame'. Hotel and condo staff have seen and are used to everything. Most visitors know what goes on in Pattaya too. It might be unusual for some of the newer Pattaya visitors, but they soon understand it's part of the Pattaya scene.

Sounds like some nice places to check out. Looking at 1/22-2/12/20 and then 3/1-3/22/20 for another 3 weeks.i like cheaper rooms (under 1000b) as I would just leave the room if I didn’t like it or encountered a problem and just get another room. Any others for me to check out is appreciated.

Chaiyapoon Inn in soi Chaiyapoon.

I had a room without window at the first floor. No lift but I didn't use the stairs either. The receptionists at night were ladyboys.

Canterbury Tales Cafe & Bookshop      https://www.facebook.com/Canterburytalespattaya/

They also rent rooms at your target price. There is no reception after 6 or 7 pm. You access rooms using stairs behind the building that has no lift. They also rent rooms a little bit further in soi Chaiyapoon in a building without reception.
