Sounds like you're off to a flying start on your "business" trip, buddy! :character00274:

Monkey business? :happy0148:

When our man was last spotted he was with just one so sounds like there were further developments.

The boys are back in town! We had a nice table @ Candy Bar last night!

Moderator- maybe you can move this to a new thread titled "Soc999 in Phnom Penh". Doesn't really belong in the accommodations thread, but I got carried away.

_______________________________________________________

The robust big-knockered blonde is Tiara from the aforementioned Top Ten on St 104. The red/white stripe is Sophia from Candy Bar St 136.

Started the night with Sophia. $7 barfine. She suggested we go to Top Ten, where we met Tiara. Paid $8 BF for Tiara and headed out.

First stop St. Tropez. Packed to the gills with Khmer folk. I was the only barang. Was put off a bit by a brusque native guy who, I think, thought we were trying to steal his place at the bar. After he walked by me twice, giving me a bit of an arm both times, we tactfully headed off to a bar next to Flamingos (Cotton Club or Club Blue or something).

Full on Cambo disco experience. Ear bleeding music volume, DJ hard at work, seizure inducing light show, black and silver motif, ultra-modern decor, 15 trimmed and coiffed employees attending to the needs of the customers ... all THREE of us. Yes we were the ONLY customers in the joint. Had a couple of drinks and headed off to Classic Cabaret for the late night show (0100).

Mostly gay boy clientele. Both Sophia & Tiara knew some of the LB dancers. Apologies that most of the girls had left, the early show was better, no customers, lose energy, blah blah.

Earlier, I had told Sophia that it was late, I'd been traveling all day and didn't really want a 3-some. Somehow, the 3 of us ended up back at the room anyway. Tiara showered and Sophia said "What can we do?" I told her again no 3-some and she valiantly offered Tiara to me for the night, provided I take her the next night. Agreed and she was out the door before Tiara emerged from the shower.

Tiara, initially bewildered, quickly adjusted, said they'd been friends for >6 years and all was probably OK. Tiara turned out to be super-sweet, great kisser, extremely passionate and adventurous. I offered her a Viagra and she accepted. after about 10 minutes, she pretty much stayed hard until she left late the next morning.

Next night, went back to Candy & BFed Sophia again and spent the night with her. More on that later on another thread that I'll start.

Tiara is looking pretty good these days with her newish tits - I remember her well from Barazza which for a year or two was 50/50 LBs/GGs.

Sophia worked at Candy for years and doesn't look so bad for her age considering that she must be about 35 years old. She rarely if ever got taken out of the bar at Candy, but those were the days when Bobo and her crew ruled the roost.

Have you tried Noatches? There is one LB usually present and correct although I'm told she may be a postie (she wasn't when I took her a year or so ago.)

Forget about that place.

The owner is a rough arsed bogan Aussie and to get through to the rooms, you have to walk through a bar full of him and his mates.

Also, it's just been reported on another forum that he is now insisting on ID cards for room guests. No ID, no admittance.

Will you LB have an ID card? It could get messy.

Regarding Tonlesap guesthouse/Piclet Parrot, can´t say that I agree with your observation. I find the owner to be an easy going person and the staff friendly towards GF/LB. Most girls and lb´s do have an ID card, can't really see the problem there.

Many thanks for the quick and informative answer.

For destinations such as Cambodia I prefer using Booking.com as it allows me to pre-book without handing over my credit card details to the hotel. I pay in cash when I checkin and as far as I know they don't send the hotel my CC details. I checked the rates on the hotel's website and they're the same as Booking's. Thanks again for the info.

DC if you still have that shot of us coming down the stairs, and can blur me out, you have my permission to post it. The Golden House deserves a good plug on the forum.

The girls didn't all walk out and pose for a group shot, so I did the best I could.

Premier I think we were in town at the same time and if so you would be able to tell me what the deal was with that guy that walked into the plate glass window at the restaurant accross street 51 from raksmey burger van. That seemed so strange, I've wandered what was going on there.

-J- my memory fails me here I think, I often spend a fair bit of time around Raksmey Burger as I've known the owner there for many years and he is a mate, but I don't remember anyone walking through a window. I may well have been there at the time but I generally arrive at Street 51 late, after pissing up around town first.....and the memories gets a bit sketchy.

Were you the guy wIth Bobo?

Yeh started the night with Bobo finished with Lulu and Srey Neer as you would have seen at classic. The guy Im talking about was sitting at the table next to you and Lilly. then he came next door to the restaurant I was at, walked behind me through some plants and straight into the window. It did not break but he rebounded back and nearly fell over me, then he just went back to his table next to yours. he was very lucky that it did not smash. Back on the topic of this thread I would also like to mention the Na Na hotel. I usally stay at Flamingoes when in PP but this time they had no vacancies so I tried Na Na $20 got me a basic room and they are LB friendly with no extra joining fee. Most of all the location is just as handy to 51 as flamingoes.

First photo is the hotel from the street

second is the view out the back from the roof

third is NaNa from the roof of Flamingoes(previous trip)

four and five are the view from the balcony

Dc, three LBs and he was walking down the stairs? tough dude :)

Alas it was no orgy, Lyly was my date for the evening, I shouted her and a few of her lb mates for a night out at Classic, the Heart and a couple of other places.  I have zero recollection of coming home and I awoke the next morning and they were just all there, luckily my room had two beds.

The girls didn't all walk out and pose for a group shot, so I did the best I could.

Coming down those stairs I was still drunk as a skunk and what DC's shots don't capture is the lb in the short(er) skirt taking a tumble down the bottom of the stairs.  It was fine theatre for the restaurant patrons across the street below dixon cox's lodgings.

I took the whole crew over to Sorya mall for lunch at the Pizza Company and my God what a scene that was.

Man my memory is shot, I remember you sitting with Bobo next door and seeing you guys at Classic but not the window incident.  I do however recall that there were a couple of loner type weirdos sitting in our vicinity, I guess it was one of them.

I normally have a keen eye too.........what was in that bag below the Nescafe can in your fourth pic?

I went to the happy herb pizza shop and asked for the house special and was dissapointed with the result. So I went back and asked for another this time hold the pizza and this bag is what I got. It's seedless better than the usual cambo bush bud that usually requires a spliff the size of Srey Pichs cock but not nearlly as much fun to smoke.

As it happened I did capture some of the tumble but I left them out to save her blushes. But now you've mentioned it here are those pics. And for anyone who thinks I just loiter with intent camera in hand, I was forewarned of their departure.

What I like is the way Mr.P just walks on past after she crashed to the ground... Such a gentleman  :happy0148:

*for some reason the forum parser doesn't recognise the dollar sign as a legit character so I had to use USD instead

I am just back from a few days in Phnom Penh and personally I didn't find it very exciting. Is it worth visiting while on a holiday in SE Asia? I'd say my short answer is you can skip it, you're not missing much. That said, if you're going to visit Angkor Wat (Siam Reap) on that trip then that's a different story altogether. Angkor Wat is an amazing site, probably on the same scale as Machu Picchu, Peru.

In general Phnom Penh reminded me of Pattaya's dark side (east of Sukhumvit), just a bit more filthy and probably a bit less safe. It is considerably cheaper than the main tourist towns in Thailand. A few hours at the Candy Shop Bar on soi 136 with four draft beers for myself and four or five lady drinks totaled at 20USD (~600 baht). Bar fines run between 5 and 10 USD and the girls were happy with 20 for ST and 30USD for LT. You can probably go even cheaper than that but I just didn't have the heart to bargain at these rates.

Street 136
Ten to twelve bars on the street itself and a few more on the adjacent streets. Mostly GG bars with some bars have a couple lbs in attendance. The girls and the lbs in the mixed bars seemed to be getting together really well and none of the ggs snubbed my for taking an lb like they do in Thailand. The bars' official closing time is 4am but they close earlier if heb no customer. The Candy Shop is a decent late night bar on street 136 and also has the largest lb team. It's a mixed gg/lb bar with about 5 lbs. The Candy shop is owned by the same guy who also owns Singer bar and Buffalo bar (I think that's the name) across the street, so some of the girls come and go between all three venues. The best looking lb I met on 136 was Annie from Sizzlers. Also worth mentioning is Cherry from Candy bar who isn't the best looking bet is one of the nicest girls I met on this trip, and a good performer.

Street 104
A five minutes walk from street 136 and a couple of blocks past the night market on Riverside. On a side note, I enjoyed a quick tour of the night market and then getting some local food from the stalls at the far end of the market. Once you get your food you can take a seat on the mats laid down on the floor and eat with the locals. The guys I share my mat with couldn't speak much English but were extremely friendly. Street 104 is half the size of street 136, I didn't see any lbs, but I only visited a couple of times and didn't stay long. Air-Force bar is said to be the best bar on the street. It's ok. Don't expect much.

Street 51
It's a walking distance from 136, under ten minutes, but I wouldn't walk there or back at night for personal safety reasons. There are some bars scattered around the street but the main reason people come here is the Heart Of Darkness and PonToon. Heart, as the locals call it is right at the center of the action on 151. It is the smaller of the two clubs and gets busy earlier. On both nights I visited there were a few lbs and they were clearly looking for action. PonToon is on a cross street from 151. If you go out of Heart go left down 151, and take the first right, you'll see it on your right 10 seconds into the cross street (172).

Riverside
Riverside has some very nice western style restaurants and sports bars. A Full breakfast will cost you five to six dollars and I enjoyed just lazing around there for a few hours everyday. Most, if not all bars and restaurants offer free wifi, so bring your ipad.

Golden House Hotel
Nice hotel, very friendly staff, lb friendly, even when I brought a couple. There is a 7/11 like shop (I think it's called Kiwi) around the corner from the hotel. It's open 24/7 if you want to get beer and other necessities for your room. Three minor tips when staying there: 1. it takes a while for the hot water to reach the tap, wait for it, they do have it  2. The mini fridge in the room is set to off. Open it and turn the knob near the ice box, now it's on. 3.When you leave your room the staff switch the power down for your aircon. They do it in the lobby on the main circuit board and they turn it back on when you come in. But from time to time they forget to, and so your aircon won't work. Don't blame the remote and tryto change batteries like I did, just call front desk and ask them to turn it back on.

Misc.
TukTuks are 1 Dollar during the day and 2 Dollars at night. Set the price before you take them to avoid misunderstandings.
Sorya shopping center has a good supermarket on the ground floor with many western products. So if you don't find what you're looking for at the local 7/11 just hop on a tuktuk and try the supermarket.
Killing Fields is a must see when in Phnom Penh. Take a taxi or tuktuk and set the price for a return trip. They'll wait for you outside while you visit the site. Make sure to take the audio guide when you purchase your ticket.
Currency wise I used only Dollars. I did change eighty USD at the airport but never really needed it. Make sure you stock on smaller USD notes; twenty is easily acceptable anywhere.
SIM Cards are available at the airport, just as you exit the arrivals hall. Ask for the CellCard booth, they are said to have the best coverage and speed. 1 Dollar for the sim and 2 Dollars for 600MB of data.
A couple of Scots I met were staying at a hotel one block down from Candy Bar on Street 136 on the same side as Golden House, they were very happy with it and said it was 25USD a night. I didn't see the rooms so I can't comment but it seemed like a decent place from the outside.
