  1. KenW I couldn't agree more with your Sher-e-Punjab review. They do the best naans in town and as they have a proper tandoori over (most Indian restaurants here don't) the tandoori dishes are perfect too. There also one the very few budget restaurants in town that have a generator for when there are power cuts. Incidentally, I went for a sniff around St 104 tonight. There wasn't much going on in terms of LBs but I had a decent plate of meatballs at the Velkomm Inn - a Norwegian eaterie at the Post Office Sq end. Worth a punt if you want to try something different.
  2. Sisowath Quay northish and close to the Green Vespa and Vivas.
  3. 'Beirut', which is owned by Christian Lebanese, is fantastic and it's well worth having a plate of mixed mezze before you start on the kebabs.
  4. I've found online reviews for you of all three places. http://www.khmer440.com/k/2012/03/phnom-penh-restaurant-reviews-beirut/ http://www.khmer440.com/k/2012/03/phnom-penh-restaurant-reviews-indian-delight/ http://www.khmer440.com/k/2011/12/phnom-penh-restaurant-reviews-viva-mexican-restaurant/ Go back a block (a two minute walk) and there's also a very comfortable sit down Khmer place http://www.khmer440.com/k/2012/03/phnom-penh-restaurant-reviews-sophys-restaurant/

Well, for a start, there is absolutely nothing there for us to enjoy - nor was there ever.. In the past, it was a notorious brothel village full of indentured (trafficked) Vietnamese girls. The ones on show were in the 15-18 age bracket. But most of the brothel houses also had rooms full of kids available for sex too. After being low key and mainly for Khmer punters in the mid 90s, word gradually got out in the late 90s (the power of the new internet) and more and more Europeans plus coachloads of Japs descended. At this point, the NGOs and the international news media got very interested. Up until then the local police had been very happy to take bribes from the brothels and turn a blind eye but with CNN etc doing stories showing the depravity going on under their noses, the cops had to do something. Well about ten years ago, the place was cleaned up...mostly. These days there are anti-trafficking and NGO projects there and any single man turning up and sniffing about the place will be noticed, assumed to be a sick f*ck and photographed. So if you want your photo in a police file, then go to Svay Pak.
  6. Keo has been there for at least 18 months and is an ever present. She's actually very pleasant just to sit and chat with and for a while was on my 'to do' list. Then one day I entered the premises and saw her getting bar fined by an 80 year old bloke who looked like Jabba the Hut only with nipple rings and as they say, ''what has been seen cannot be unseen.'' I knew then that if I took her out then my performance would be wrecked by mental images of Jabba when we were on the job. Anyway, she's a cutie so well done Soc

Is this one still around at Candy? There's no point mentioning a name as it changes every so often. free image hosting

Don't even think about going there. You're insane just contemplating it.
  9. Noatches is on 104. I've not seen Domino Bar mentioned here either and there's usually a LB there too. Domino is on Street 5 just around the corner from the Riverhouse Lounge.
  10. Tiara is looking pretty good these days with her newish tits - I remember her well from Barazza which for a year or two was 50/50 LBs/GGs. Sophia worked at Candy for years and doesn't look so bad for her age considering that she must be about 35 years old. She rarely if ever got taken out of the bar at Candy, but those were the days when Bobo and her crew ruled the roost. Have you tried Noatches? There is one LB usually present and correct although I'm told she may be a postie (she wasn't when I took her a year or so ago.)
  11. Totally agree. Her schlong is a monster. As you can see below... Anyway, she's not a dark skinned Khmer as are often seen in the provinces. She's mixed race with her mother being Khmer and dad being an African soldier who was in Cambodia during the UNTAC period.
  12. Som tow ch'nai = please go very far away (literal) but actually understood as 'feck off'
  13. Forget about that place. The owner is a rough arsed bogan Aussie and to get through to the rooms, you have to walk through a bar full of him and his mates. Also, it's just been reported on another forum that he is now insisting on ID cards for room guests. No ID, no admittance. Will you LB have an ID card? It could get messy.

    Help ID LBs?

Brilliant work and many thanks. Here's one more. I was thinking about the LB on the left who I only met once but was a friend of the LB on the right who worked at the old Classic. image hosting adult
