JaiDee
It's the most, wonderful time of the year! http://paddynotpatty.com/ Quote Link to comment
ciobha
It was last year - me and Jimslim spent Paddy's day in Pattaya, it was our first full day of the holiday, which always adds to the buzz. If memory serves me correct, we ended up getting young Pigdogg a little tipsy by mid afternoon, and he had to retire home for a nap. Lightweight We were supposed to go join in the celebrations and the parade at 11am, but alas weren't out of our chariots by then. Still there were plenty of drunk Thai people pretending to be Irish for the day, and getting absolutely cabbaged and making fools of themselves. Quote Link to comment
SiamSam
Well a HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY to all of you Irish folk whether in Ireland or elsewhere. All the best. Quote Link to comment
gizmo
I'm spending Paddy's day at home in Ireland unlike all our politicians which sucks, although I am off to Pattaya on the 30th, so thats good Quote Link to comment
Lone Ranger
Might pop in here after Hannaran's Quote Link to comment
SiamSam
Mr. Ranger, I would think it more appropriate to "stumble inn" rather than pop in. 1 Quote Link to comment
Lone Ranger
Mr. Ranger, I would think it more appropriate to "stumble inn" rather than pop in. Thank you for the correction I will get Tom to leave a pint behind the bar for you Quote Link to comment
bumblebee
Stumble inn and stagger out as we say here. Have a great day to anyone who finds themselves in a green environment. Quote Link to comment
KenW
I'm looking forward to it as always. Be doing a session at my local bar (run by an Englishman!). But there'll be Irish presence. That free Irish stew in Mr Ranger's advert there would be enough to entice me. Back in Oz recently I had the first feed of Irish stew I'd had in years. Wonderful; how I love it. Quote Link to comment

Lefty
I miss being at Corner Bar and singing Wearing Of The Green for the enjoyment of all the many wonderful Irish gentlemen I've met in Thailand, Not a finer lot of fellows I've ever met from one country than the Irish. Not even a single reprobate in the bunch. 1 Quote Link to comment
Lefty
This is my other favorite Irish song. If you ask me real nice I've been known to sing it too, especially when I am in my cups. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCqelvx1cGo Quote Link to comment
JaiDee
The parade in South Boston yesterday was the usual mix of; drunks, 1/16th "Irishman" with their Fighting Irish or Shamrock tattoos, young girls throwing up on their shoes and multiple arrests. Meanwhile, in Ireland........ 1 Quote Link to comment
