  1. I remember going to watch Road to Perdition at the cinema when it came out. Newman played the big boss with Daniel Craig (not yet James Bond) as his fucked up son and was surprised how good Tom Hanks was as a gangster. As he always played the happy go lucky roles back then.
  2. What an excellent film that was. I remember watching it when I was a young lad. I was always a fan of Paul Newman. I’ve seen the film a few times now.

    Had the 4th booster jab last Friday. The Moderna which covers the variants. Only had a sore arm for one night, same as the other jabs

    You’ve got that totally back to front English language is from England and American language is adopted English.
  12. Just watched it this aft and Tom Hanks, brilliant as per. But I can’t think I’ve ever saw him play a bad guy before. Road to Perdition maybe. Tom Parker was no more a Colonel than the guy who makes chicken, so finger licking good.

  20. Seen Bob Dylan a long time ago in the summer of 85 at Newcastle football ground. Support acts were good too Carlos Santana and Lindisfarne .
