Family outing to Obsession - WTF?

Last night in Obsession Bangkok, around midnight. Yound lad (aged 10/11) sitting with his Dad, while Dad played with LB on his lap and LBs got their tits out for son to play with.

I've seen some things in LB bars, but this was bizarre, not to say appalling. Not surprised at the bar letting them in (money) .Doubt the guy (in his 50's) is on this civilised forum. But if you are the "responsible adult"..... you are a complete fucking twat!

That kid already looked as if he's grown up well before his years. Wonder what other entertainment on the family night out? Ping pong balls show?

Dont think I'm overreacting. Other customers were saying worse than I am about this dickhead!

It does sound bizarre and a stupid thing to do kids grow up quick enough now days and 10-11 is way to young to be in a bar let alone a brothel .

On the other side of the coin I was in the company of a friend who lives in Bangkok last trip and he insisted on bringing his elderly parents on a trip around Nana Plaza ......... reckoned his dad would love it .

He decided to break them in gently by taking them to Voodoo first , they looked totally shocked especially when one of the dancers started playing with her pussy ,they downed their drinks at breakneck speed and bid us farewell ............ My mate reckoned it went well .

On my second trip on October last year, what took my attention was, the number of Western women inside Nana Plaza bars. Had seen a few on the year before, November 2011 at beer bars on Soi Nana, but almost none inside. That time it was like, saw them at all nights in my short visiting time. Being touristy like Patpong perhaps? There were couples all around too. But of course going with your wife etc. is a completely different thing than this.

Well, one other anectode last year. Had had a GG there at a bar and since the mamasan would not let her go to the client's hotel, I took her at the short time hotel inside NP. We got in the room, and the small room had a too strong air conditioner and it was freezing cold inside. I couldn't stand the cold, so I asked her if we could turn the A/C down. She called outside and a little girl, probably less than 10 with a remote in her hand came and turned down the A/C. I was petrified to see a girl that little to be working in that short time hotel with such surroundings. It was disturbing. Perhaps that even was one reason for my kinda early limping (luckily managed to get it up again).

I've had similar encounters with children taking care of minor business wrinkles like air conditioning, towels, soap, cleaning up the ST room, et cetera. Always disconcerting to say the least but it appears the kids could care less and seem to be totally either unaware or desensitized. Just another chore that needs to get done around the house. More disturbing for me is seeing toddlers and VERY young children out on the streets at 2, 3 and 4 in the morning begging, selling flowers, gum, even viagra. I am pretty sure these children are destined to be underage prostitutes within a few shorts years. This I find upsetting however I bring my western guilt, angst, and emotion to it all which is never the "be all or end all" of life as people live it on our planet.

Maybe the son was a ladyboy in training!

Unlikely as this may seems it maybe the reason. Ive seen this before in Pattaya where parents have taken son in training to a LB bar. Those that go to GG bars will on rare occasions see parents and kids in these bars as well. I have no idea why they are let in but it happens. Some parents just dont care and probably hail from North of Denmark ... i think the moral Compass is calibrated differently up there

Yes, definitely that too. I once saw one toddler or 3 y.o. tops,  begging near The Landmark or the Kasikorn Bank on the way to Nana BTS station, with no adult present. In my place, I'm used to adult beggars pulling around their babies with them to "the job", or gum selling-car windscreen cleaning-begging kids of 5-6 or so, but a solo toddler begging on the street is beyond me. The kid I saw at least seems to have a home of some sort...but you know, seeing a mamasan, a go-go girl, and an underage ST hotel worker girl in a short timespan got me thinking: "is this the 3 generation of the biz?"

I stopped being surprised at the "moral compass" of Thai people a long time ago, that compass is calibrated with things like "kreng jai", "nam jai" and "boon khun", rather than western things like "tell the truth", "be faithful" and "feel guilty when you fuck random chicks or LBs".

I like the Thai way better... having sex is like eating food.
