The bar's name and location: VJ Internet Bar Queenpark Plaza 14/3 Sukhumvit Soi 22 Sukhumvit Road Klongtoei Bangkok 10110 The nearest BTM is Phomphong Station and Asoke Station. Telephone number 081 695 7173 The email address is: tsmoohwaan@gmail.com I have known the owner/manager, named Tee (aka Tiny) (an LB) for over six years and try and try to see her whenever I visit Bangkok (although not on the last two visits). I have written about her in various TRs. Tee/Tiny has a great sense of humour, is a real "Party Animal" but she also has a good business head on her shoulders. Tee is university educated, she did internet stuff to supplement her income for a number of years, and is a Wat Po trained Masseuse. She opened the bar about two and a half years ago and was running it, originally, as a relatively "straight" bar with a couple of GGs "available". She told me, by email, that the Red Shirt Demonstrations of 2010 really hurt her takings and that she intended to bring in some of her LB friends to try and bring in a new clientele. I never really understood this clump of poor quality bars at Queenpark Plaza. There are much better bars just a couple of Skytrain stations away and with so much more choice. Anyway is there ever a need to step away from Soi 4, NEP, the Guess Bar etc unless it is to visit KC3? For the avoidance of doubt, I am not promoting this bar - I just happened to see the place mentioned and remembered I had hundreds of photos that Tee had sent me over the years of Tee and of the girls (LBs) in the bar and thought I could draw Forum Members' attention to a small bar, where I found a lively atmosphere and a collection of LBs together with a Bar owner who seemed to be willing and able to introduce me to many LBs, and who, despite her advancing age, was a very good and enthusiatic (probably that should read "insatiable") performer herself. There are no short term rooms upstairs above the bar, but there are many ST Rooms around the area, within a couple of minutes walk. I only started the thread because someone mentioned the bar in another context and I thought that as I had a load of photos,( Tee sends me batches monthly) I would "put it on the map" - but this bar is not at all comparable to the aforementioned "main sources of LB talent" I can however post dozens of photos of the LBs who frequent the bar - and will so do. Firstly, it can be dead in the afternoon. Some nights the whole of Queenspark Plaza can be quiet and moribund. Some guys have reported to me that they had a wild time, others that it was a total waste of time. I think you have to be lucky and hit it on a good night. It is a very, very, small bar - a dozen people would make it look crowded. My advice would be to phone Tee/Tiny in advance - tell her the type of LB you want and ask if it is likely to be a busy or a quiet night. I went there one evening and met her. She is sexy in a rough kinda way (big scar on her shoulder, bad skin) After 10 minutes of drinking a beer while she played on her Iphone and gave me no attention at all I said I was leaving She asked me whay and I replied; because you are boring'. We both thought that the place could be fun but she said she did not go with customers anymore and she tried to offer us other mediocre looking ladyboys. her manner was like the fucking awful mamasan in cascades. I vowed to never return! If you had a good time there, thats great. Only my opinion for what its worth. The pictures make it look like party central but (in my experience as a dweller in Bangkok) that's very far from the truth. You say there are no short time facilities there but I know that there are (cos VJ) told me so and someone else here went with two ladyboys there? 2 for 500 baht each?????????? Wow it's (almost) unbelievable? I suspect that the short-time room is the internet room in the back. The owner's name is Tee aka Tiny. I had sex with her a few times between 2006-2009, before she opened the bar, and found her fun to be with - and I am not exactly a neophyte; so it is different strokes for different folks and everything depends on the individual's mood and the chemistry between two people at any particular time. I only posted more photos because I was sent them. As I said, I only brought it up out of general interest and a change from the places where we all normally go and where the talent and atmosphere is better by far! And we all know that different places appeal to different people During the floods last October I heard the flood water was giving the bar problems so the three principals went off to Phuket in early November for a few days break - I was sent 165 photos -mainly of food dishes and the sites of Bangla Road, but with too many guys in them to be able to post the photos. If you go expecting a venue like Nana Bars or GB you will be incredibly dissapointed. I don't know how the place stays open. Took a walk down to it from Nana around 3-4 o'clock in November 2011. I arrived with three ladyboys in the bar. One was lying on the couch sleeping another had gotten up and began doing her make up and the third playing with her phone. I bought a drink for one (Sasha). She phoned Tiny who arrived about 3 minutes later it seemed. Tiny suggested I buy them all drinks so being the only customer of the day I felt bad and said I would buy them all drinks for 100 baht each. She was game for that. Sasha eventually lured me into their makeshift ST room which is the computer room in the back of the bar. We had some fun in the dark, broke a chair, and both spilled our loads onto the floor. After my pants went back up and the lights went on, Sasha was already on the damp mop. Tiny had already left but walking in as I was leaving was that cute post-op in TG925's posts. It's a place that you have to be able to make your own fun. I got the feeling they weren't knocking back many offers. Sasha took whatever I had left after the drinks which about 600 baht or so.
