After fucking Anny I felt a sense of accomplishment for having done what I had hesitated to do the whole trip for fear of rejection, which in a way is what happened since she rejected my LT offer but I did not care anymore because our ST was so much better and I managed so many more pictures than I had on our other previous ST.

So feeling I might be on a roll, I decided to go chase another beautiful sissy I had been observing all week but never had a chance to connect with.  It started on my first night with Pepsi who at 19 was too young to be allowed at Lucifer or Insomnia the clubs I like to party at with my barfines.  So i took Pepsi instead to the Stones House which is a little less strict and allows 19 year olds because it serves food also. That night I saw for the first time on another table a ladyboy so delicately feminine that neither I nor Pepsi could be sure if she was a GG or a ladyboy.  She was tall and very elegant and the way she danced was bewitching to me. I would see her again in subsequent nights but she was always in the company of another ladyboy (freelancers!) and/or of young Asian men and always I had a table behind hers so the opportunities for eye contact were zero.  Being with company myself I did not think it was either considerate nor productive to hit on her absent the prospect of a boom boom follow up.

But since Anny, unlike the others, did not stick around I was free that night to prowl for the beautiful ladyboy and if possible get her contact with a view to my next trip to Pattaya since it would be unlikely I could be with her that same night as she always had company.  So i went alone to the Stones House and looked around the tables but she was not there.  But I did see a free table (the only one on a Saturday night!) next to a very hot GG MILF who I also had been noticing all week so I decided I might as well have a drink and give her the eye.  This is when things started to turn bad for me:

As soon as I ordered a drink the MILF and the other lady she was with left without as much as having smiled at me.  Waste of my time and hopes!  Then when the drink came I had to pay for it 240 baht but had no smaller bills and had to break a 1000. Instinctively I had a bad feeling about it but handed the 1000 bill and, as I had feared, THE 760 BAHT CHANGE NEVER CAME.   As you can imagine this generates a crescendo of stress and frustration.  After 10 minutes I started to look around but I could not even identify the Thai waiter who took my money.  After 15 minutes I ask any waiter for my change and they just signal me to wait.  After 20 minutes I insist and signal my annoyance and the matter is brought to the attention of a floor manager who starts by identifying the waiter who served me from the record of the drink I ordered which fortunately was not a beer but a more exclusive pina colada.  Then for the next 15 minutes I watch him and the waiter talk and looking at me and the waiter was clearly lying that he did not do anything wrong.  At some point I go over to them and say where is my money and take a picture of the waiter who was acting all condescending with me telling me to relax and seat down.

An hour had likely passed since I ordered the drink and the matter was escalated to security for checking what happened in the CCTV cameras.  Another half hour passed.  Obviously everyone was hoping I would just leave.  I went over again and said I wanted to look at the CCTV footage myself and for the first time threatened to report the incident at the Walking Street police stand right outside the bar.  That's when the floor manager patronizingly told me to relax and then used his cellphone translating app to tell me they were working on printing CCTV stills for me to see.  This obviously meant that they felt I was the one at fault (either confused or ripping off) so I was angered but reacted with smarts.  I used his cellphone app to write:  "The pictures will FOR SURE show that I gave 1000 and never got any change".  And then I asked "What does your waiter say happened ?".  The manager wrote "He says you gave him a 500 baht bill".   I responded "I gave 1000 FOR SURE. But even if I gave 500 I never got any change.  The CCTV movie will confirm he never came back with any change".  Cheque-Mate.  The manager realized I was not the con one and just left me to tell the others.  Another 15 minutes passed and 3 men come down all stern-faced to talk to the waiter and the cashiers (who were probably in on it).  Words were changed in Thai and 760 baht were given to me.  Obviously the CCTV footage exonerated me and compromised them.  Faces had to be saved so no explanation was given to me.  I just got out of there.  I guess I was lucky they mentioned the existence of CCTV footage and followed through.

What I did not mention was that during this 1 hour and half mini-drama, the beautiful ladyboy I had came for arrived with company but I was not at all in the mood or focus to hit on her.  When I finally got my money I looked around for the ladyboy but she had left.  But that was not the end of the story as you will see in Part 3.

With a few stories like this buzzin' around, any restaurant seriously jeopardizes their business. Plenty of places where you will be treated correctly, so might as well avoid the place. But kudos for your patience Rom, don't think I would have done the same. Would probably have kicked the waiters ass and have left after 15 minutes without my change

What stands out to me is the unfortunate reality that a sex tourist with 30 years of experience is being taken advantage of by ladyboys who show no intention of fulfilling their 'contractual obligations'. Moreover, a seemingly straightforward restaurant is now claiming not to have received a substantial bill, attempting to exhaust the patience of the tourist in the process. It's disheartening to spend an hour and a half just to receive the correct change.

This situation brought to my  mind a conversation I had with a travel agency manager in Ao Nang. She expressed her frustration with the prevailing atmosphere of scams in her city, which I had described during our conversation. She was genuinely upset. Having conducted business in Patong Beach, she had made the difficult decision to relocate to another city due to numerous complaints from dissatisfied tourists. Witnessing the adverse effects of the situation on her business deeply troubled her.

Another memory that comes to mind takes me back to my days as a student in Italy during the 1980s. At the time, I had a habit of instinctively paying restaurants with the exact change. If not, I would politely remind the waiter or waitress to return my change. On one particular evening with mates, two of us paid the exact amount for our meal, while the third mate added a few larger bills to the payment without notifying the waiter. The waiter didn't return the change, and after half an hour, my mate inquired about it. The waiter explained that it was too late to provide change since he hadn't checked the amount and it was too late to provide change. This was a time before the advent of CCTV cameras.

As a piece of advice for dining in Asian restaurants, if I find myself without smaller bills, I make it a point to visit a trusted establishment like a 7/11 and purchase a small item to ensure I have change in my wallet.

Are you suggesting I could have waited in the shadows and beat the guy up on his way home?  I don't think so.  Remember I was on the CCTV camera footage ?  I would be in the custody of Thai police before you can say Suvarnabhumi.  Aside from that, I may be bigger than the Thai waiter but he is half my age, so it is not clear what the outcome would be unless I whacked him Mafia-style.

I don't intend to boycott Stones as a result of my experience.  In fact management responded adequately to a situation where one out of its dozens of employees misbehaved.  They could easily have protected him and not mention or refused to look into the CCTV footage and all I could have done was walk out and fuss' to the police who would not do more than record my complaint, if that.

Could management have been speedier and taken into account that I had spent 1000s of baht there the previous few nights?  Yes.  They could have offered me free drinks for example, but the fact that they pursued the matter at all has to be seen as a positive in the context of Thais versus Farangs dynamics.  I wonder what will happen to the waiter ?  It stands to reason that if he is inclined to steal from customers, he will also steal from the house first chance he gets...  and if the cashiers were in on it then it's even worse... I doubt the waiter will get out of this unscathed.

I had experienced a similar situation 20 years ago at Obsession Nana when I paid with 1000 baht and was brought change for 500. Unfortunately the ladyboy I was with (the famous ANNIE from the early 2000s) testified I gave 500 and I knew I did not but decided to bite the bullet for the sake of continuing with Annie who I was close with and gave me great rates and 20 hour LTs that more than offset a 500 baht hit.  That one episode is what has ever since made me wary of paying with 1000 baht bills.  In the PH they routinely write on the checkbill the denomination of the banknote the client pays with.  Never had that happen or attempted there.

????  What "contractual obligations" ???  You must have misunderstood my post.  I am not sure what you are referring to.  If it is where I say "When I finally got my money I looked around for the ladyboy but she had left" that ladyboy and I had no "contractual obligations".  In fact we had not even met.  I recall that the reason I had gone to that club was to try to connect with that ladyboy who I had seen in previous nights but never spoken to.   And she was not even there when I arrived.  She only arrived (with another dude) sometime in the middle of my dispute over the missing change and she was gone by the time it was resolved.  But that was not the end of the story as you will see when I write Part 3 of the My Last Night in Pattaya mini-series but not today that is my last full day in TH and I am juggling 2 sissies.

I did for a moment think Cantona may have been you. The TR was better written than I'd expect from someone who claimed to be of "mandatory schooling of my era and plant employment", and the keen interest with the twins and mention of Ian Fleming etc. But I was convinced that the writer was a Brit so ruled it all out to be a coincidence. 555

Not about the Stones, but I suspect that there is plenty of stealing from absentee owners.  I suppose it's more difficult in venues with computerized bins.
