  1. I was on my best behaviour that day.
  2. You have obviously never been to N.Ireland then Woodie. Christ on a bike, some of the worst drivers in the world, I swear. It takes me an hour each day to calm down after my daily commute. Like fookin Whacky Races out there most days. I reckon some people got their licence in a lucky dip. Of course the road system doesn't help, in fact it adds to the madness. For a so called developed country, we have a third world road set up.
  3. QG, Covid vaccines are a bit like The Terminator movies. After the second one, it all becomes a bit pointless.
  4. Did that place use to be SA Apartments?
  5. That is encouraging, especially if he keeps the staff and menu.
  6. You going to enter Mr.Dogg? You do have a fine set of man boobs!!!
  7. Ahhh yes, I remember the night, I think it was 2012, when we started the evening in there and then went for a serious night on the tiles. There was your good self, me, Jim, Fergus, Bruce, Crazy Dave, Kim Loe, Juri and I think a few others. They pulled a few tables together for us that night. Great days.
  8. I agree with that Duke, probably my favourite eatery in all Pattaya. Their Chinese Chicken Curry with Fried Rice was fantastic.
  9. If you look on You Tube, Emirates have had a number of near misses over the past few years, a lot more than what would be deemed normal, and most seem to be pilot error. None of these have been reported on mainstream media, but by law all near misses are recorded by the FAA and this information is available to the public. Some of them are actually quite scary and but for a touch of luck, could have resulted in hundreds of deaths. Still won't put me off flying with them though.
  10. Never been with Kung, but she made Sindy's look like a dying acorn. And Sindy ain't small.
  11. A plethora of the La Bamba crew can now been found working in "Dee Beach Bar", directly opposite Yamato restaurant.
  12. Elvis is not dead!! He was kidnapped by rock n' roll loving aliens.
  13. Try "Eden Bungalows" in Fishermans Village Bophut first up. Lovely little resort in the street, but the bungalows are set back a bit so there is no noise. The rooms are very nice, all individual little bungalow type buildings, and of course of various sizes and styles, so you can suit your own needs. There is a decent swimming pool, bar and restaurant on site. A few metres further up is "Smile House Resort". Somewhat bigger resort on beautiful large gardens, also individual bungalows of various sizes. Two swimming pools, and also it's own restaurant which is set on the beach. It will be slightly pricier, but the facilities probably justify this. I stayed here earlier this month and was quite impressed with the place. That is just two to get you started, which are more resort/hotel type arrangements. There are also a plethora of small villas and apartments not to far from here, say 5 to 10 minutes walk, which are rentable for around 15 to 20k per month if you stayed for 3 months.
  14. I would definitely say Koh Samui DT, but I am possibly biased?? Spent my last two holidays there in the most part other than two nights in Pattaya at the end of my most recent visit, which was just last week. Bophut is the place I would recommend if you are wanting relaxed, nice beach and just a few beers of an evening on most nights, with the option of the 15 minute taxi ride to Chaweng and the Soi Reggae area on nights you might be looking for some company. Am I reading you correct saying you would have 2500 baht to spend per night solely on accommodation? If so, I could suggest numerous extremely nice places which would come in lower than that for a two or three month stay, and are right on the beach.
  15. Chanel is (was) a hottie indeed. She has reverted back to being a bloke now, shame.

    Coronavirus

The real scary thing is that now 95% of Governments around the world will very soon sign up to an agreement that will hand over pandemic control the the WHO - meaning they will decide what happens during a health crisis. Yes, the same WHO who are the key cheerleaders for China's latest approach in locking everybody on their homes with no access to food or medical supplies!!!! Of course the WHO is basically owned by none other than that prick Gates, who has a constant hard on for telling the world how they should live and even how they should think. Fookin maybe Russia should nuke us and get the misery over and done with!!!!
  17. Anybody watched "Yellowstone" and what's your thoughts on it? Box sets of the first two series available for £10 a pop in my local Tesco, so was thinking of giving it a go.
  18. Stick to Samui brother Seven, I will show you the sights and where the ladymen hide out!!!!
  19. No rules, no discipline, no sense of responsibility, no idea of the basic principles of timekeeping - should I go on??
  20. Heading back to Samui in a few weeks. Applied for my Thailand Pass on Tuesday - received it on Wednesday. I believe, and I may be wrong so don't shoot me down if I am, that the majority (not all) of people who suffer lengthy delays in receiving their pass, is mainly down to not downloading documents in the proper format, and failing to complete the form correctly. But as I say, maybe I am wrong.
  21. It must have gone down hill since December then, because when I went then, it was an extremely efficient process. Perhaps a lot more tourists now than back then adding to the confusing? I was highly impressed with how quick the whole process was back in December, through the airport in no time at all, and yes, I had to wait a few minutes on the taxi to take me to the hotel, but if I recall correctly, the plane landed at 12.15 and I was in the hotel for about 13.00.
  22. Jesus H Christ!!! There are some devious rascals on here will wish that was their wrong'un she was ploughing! Bloody pervs.
  23. I would assume it will be under different ownership?
