  1. I only spoke with Sammy outside the shop, but yes, she is every bit as nice as her photos suggest. And as we know, chemistry is an individual thing, but for me Lin has something special. I hope you enjoy, whoever takes your fancy when you visit.
  2. It will be more of a challenge than I first thought, as it seems much of my trip will be supervised. However, these things need checking out, and I'll gladly pass on my findings.
  3. I'll be in Pattaya for a few days, week after next. I will try to find out first hand, so to speak.
  4. I've seen some good birthday cakes, but never one quite like this one; and my views on hip-hop have changed too. This night, like many others, is the reason Whynot is a great place to visit, even on a quiet night.
  5. I know there are some wankers out there, but really ... a time and a place ...
  6. Social media has a lot to answer for; well, those who use it like these two dumb-arses anyway. I hope they cop more than a slap on the wrist fine. But I suppose there will be other idiots to take their place with some new crazy fad.
  7. My local Tesco Lotus store in Phitsanulok will be closed on 26th also because of the Cremation Day. Not sure if it is limited hours or all day (my reading of written Thai is very limited).
  8. I know I have a warped sense of humour, but this joke really appeals to me. Thanks BB.
  9. I was shown a post on the internet just now that says Thais should not wear bright coloured clothing from today (1 October), and even gave 25 colours that are acceptable. And of course from 13th to 27th October, black is the colour. Black may well reflect the entertainment sector here.

    Chaos 9 Soi 4

I think Gutsy's post (Feb 21) says why there's not much input on this topic. For Bkk BMs, the action is in NEP or away from the area - Whynot for example, as far as bars are concerned. I can't see the rajah complex being as it once was; times change and life goes on, in this case, life goes on elsewhere.
  11. Yes, I'm sure you're right, and if you combine this with the comment TEX made, it all benefits the patrons. Certainly the best bar in Bangkok IMHO.
  12. Genius is an often over-used word, but it really describes Becker and Fagan. I'm glad you posted Sam; just sad about the news. Like you, I play their music a lot, and it will have a different sound now.
  13. Thanks, Pdoggg, for a very interesting and well written article. I like the fact that it is non-judgemental, using simple language and giving what sounds like good advice. Might have to look into this further, 555.
  14. Well I struggled through the video. I can see his point about "for the better" but only for some people. I'm sure you can get a good, straight massage if you want, but what does it mean for people who have invested in bars and other kinds of massage? And is it really only about money? Having to get a "guest house licence" for the short time rooms - it's cosmetic, not cleaning up the city. And what about all the ggs and lbs? If all these changes (or enforcement of existing laws) do go ahead, those of us who like things as they are may well go elsewhere, and the city will lose out on all of our money, the girls will be short on income, and crime (theft, for example) may increase. Time will tell.
  15. For Lent I'm giving up worrying about things I have no control over; well, I'll try anyway. (The general said last Friday night in his weekly speech that today (Sunday) is "No Alcohol Day", but if you can't stop, then you should try to cut down) - so I guess if I try to stop worrying, then that's okay too. I've become very cynical in my old age - maybe I should try to stop that too.
  16. And doing a great job too. I like the style of LBR, and the fact that most members have the right attitude. Like Stoolpusher, I find this site is my favourite.
  17. Great photo BB. And yes, we are all getting old. her song "One Way or Another" probably applies to a few of us .
  18. I agree with Tex - long straight hair, and preferably black. But it's a very individual thing, and hard to explain. Some noses put me off (why? I have no idea), and the right one with short hair (yes, SP, like Pancake) can do the trick. In the end if it's right at the time, it's right. Superman is brought to his knees.
  19. Getting old, BB - for ages I couldn't see the point of your photo, and then the penny dropped. A strange world indeed.
  20. Yes indeed. Ill wouldn't begin to describe his feelings then. (but a nice thought - without the police and army being present of course). Some "oral pleasure" would be very nice, thank you.
  21. I think it's the same everywhere - it's legal as long as you don't get caught. Legal or not, I'll bet the guy is feeling ill after it all went sour.
  22. Certainly a step in the right direction. Unfortunately I can't get near the financial requirements, but I can see some guys would really benefit from the new setup. I'll just plod along with my yearly renewals for now, unless I jag the lottery.
  23. What was the real motive behind the raid? And what a shocker - wearing a bikini and "exposing her breasts". - pornography of the highest level. I'm lost for words. Oh yes, the army wasn't going to say anything, but the police let the news out. What's behind it all?
  24. I read that the Saudis said it was " .. not in their culture .." to observe the minute's silence (though they have done so before). I'm pleased the Socceroos beat them, and their officials have apologised as well. But a pretty poor show on the night. Try offending their culture in their country - you'd be lucky to make it out alive. I feel for the families of the victims of the attacks.
  25. I have no idea; but I would go with pics 1,2 and 3 at the drop of a hat. No way would I go with pics 4,5 or 6 in a fit. Doesn't it make you think ..... ?
