    Trying to curry favour with the bar owner ? Trying to feel important ? Just plain gullible ? I agree with most of the comments above from all who have posted , if anyone has concerns the more progressive way to help would be to go directly to the bar workers not the owners . All the bars in my city are closed , my empathy is totally with the already low paid workers who are laid off and struggling , not with the owners

    As you say Tel we can only guess but I'd assume he's somehow got out of Thailand then travelled from another country , how he ever got out of police custody in the first place obviously involved a big backhander , absolute disgrace .

    He's been in the press in Ireland , hiding out in County Cavan apparently , the local police claim they have no cause to arrest him . How he could have skipped jail , escaped Thailand and made it to Ireland in the middle of a pandemic when ordinary holiday makers couldn't find flights points to one thing only .

    One LB I knew who did a few movies with him said he was Australian Then again if he was wary of covering his tracks that could have been a cover story One thing we do know for sure he was very hairy
