bumblebee
The name for which feature of Geography means "Almost an Island" in Latin? I'll go with peninsula as it is almost an island and makes most sense, thought I may be way off. Actually there is one outside Dublin that was an island until a silt build up a long time ago. Tomcat
Looks like you have us stumped on this one TC. The ship was being towed from the US down to Panama to be scrapped and somehow broke free.and was lost. A 4000 ton vessel and no trace of it until earlier this year it was spotted heading towards the west coast of Eire , a Ghost Ship where the rats who had been known to have infested the boat were , according to sources, probably eating each other to survive. This ship is the size of a large building and yet although they know that it has not sank they still cant pin it down. if it sank the lifeboats would have fired a transmitter so its not in Davy Jones Locker. It was in the news due to the Malay Airliner that was lost..another needle in a haystack The ship is drifting aimlessly out there somewhere and it now appears some Ozzies are up around the Arctic after another sighting with aim of claiming salvage rights . It appears that there are other Ghost vessels out there , abandoned, forgotten and drifting on the high seas ..a disaster waiting to happen 1 Quote Link to comment
