Lefty
Nevada Come on now, you can be more specific than naming just the state. What was the nearest town to the Ponderosa? Quote Link to comment
Lefty
Since Hollywood has a propensity for trouble, I would imagine one of them later in life must have been in rehab, made a porn film, or had other problems worthy of the tabloids? Robert Reed who played the dad was outed in the media years later as being gay. Quote Link to comment
Lefty
When the Old Chief Justice is replaced the new guy becomes the Chief Justice. Not always. It is by presidential appointment. The president can appoint a current associate justice to chief justice as what happened with William Rehnquist. Or when the president appoints a brand new justice such as with John Roberts, he can name the new justice as the chief justice. Quote Link to comment
Lefty
Correctomundo! Some maps show this clearer than others. You cannot really travel west to east, or east to west, through the canal, because it does not run that direction, it is more north to south, or south to north. When you are going from the Pacific to the Caribbean you are traveling more in a northerly direction IMO. I guess it is really splitting hairs though to say one or the other. :) Quote Link to comment
Lefty
I don't know if this has been asked or if I asked it myself before, so my apologies if so... Who is the only actress to win the Oscar for best actress in a leading role in a movie directed by her husband?, Give her name, her husband's name and name the movie. Quote Link to comment

Spielberg and Amy Irving would likely be a good guess, but I can't think of any movie they worked on together. Quote Link to comment

JaiDee
Fargo The TV series of the same name is rather good. I've watched the first three, it seems pretty decent......I liked the chief of police, damn shame he had to take the big dirt nap so early! Quote Link to comment
seven
There was no regular or recurring character on Bonanza named Manilito. There was a regular character on High Chaparral named Manolito though. Ah, i used to watch Bonanza and High Chaparral with my grandpa, i mixed em up. Manolito was the indian. Quote Link to comment

Lefty
Frances McDormand, Joel Coen, Fargo. Or is it Ethan Coen? The TV series of the same name is rather good. Annie Hall is the name of the movie directed by Woody Allen. Yup, Joel Coen is the right one. 2-3 other movies had a wife nominated for best actress in a movie directed by her husband but none of the others won. Quote Link to comment
