Probably will take a few terms for Bernie Sanders to make any ground, bit similar to UKIP in the UK, taken them about 10 years before anyone really started to vote for them, and they gaining ground fast, but I think alot of the votes are protest votes aswell, but I understand where you coming from JaiDee !!

IMO  bin Laden is dead, shot in the face by SEAL team members and his body dumped at sea to prevent acolytes from visiting his grave, which would have become a shrine. I won't buy the books of those asshole team members either, fuck giving them money for telling a story which should remain amongst their brethren.

And, really, have these a-holes given any thought that their families are now in danger, and for years to come?  Some lunatic would love to take one of them out, saying "I shot the wife of the guy who shot bin Laden!"  These guys put their own lives and the lives of their families at risk just to make a few bucks; pathetic.

As for the GOP, I seriously have no clue how anyone can vote for any of those people.  Sure, Obama has been a disappointment and the Dems aren't any better, but why on earth would anyone vote for a party which; wants to tell women what to do with their bodies [mainly based on a 2000 -year old book of children's fables], allows more tax cuts for the rich and for corporations, allow those same corporations to give unlimited amounts of cash to political candidates, is against raising the minimum wage, is against unions, is FOR more guns,  deny global warming, deny fucking  EVOLUTION, wants to charge kids more money in interest for student loans, wants "boots on the ground'' in more places, spread fear on a daily basis.....the latest one is Ebola; do you know that O.J. has killed more people in America than Ebola has?....etc, etc......  again, how anyone can vote for them, especially a woman, is against all things sane and rational.

My favorite guy in all of America is Bernie Sanders, an independent from Vermont.  Looks like he will be running in 2016, but he really has no chance.   Damn shame.

Bernie is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have never heard him say anything I did not totally agree with.

As for Obama being a disappointment, IMO, only because the obstructionist Repukes wouldn't allow him to do everything he wanted. The country by all measure is in much better shape now than when he took over the mess left by that god damned worthless Dubya.

If you intentionally seek out and drink fluoridated water under the premise it is protecting you from tooth decay, then you really are a complete idiot.

http://www.globalhealingcenter.com/natural-health/fluoride-named-neurotoxin-medical-journal/

Fluoridation, the process of adding fluoride to public water supplies in an effort to prevent cavities, has courted controversy since its introduction in the US during the 1940s. Now, the prestigious medical journal The Lancet has published a report that supports what opponents of fluoride have long been arguing. In essence, the journal article pointed to the fact that fluoride is a developmental neurotoxin.

The peer-reviewed report, which builds off a 2006 study that looked at five potential neurotoxins, now adds fluoride to the list of harmful environmental pollutants. [1] In fact, fluoride is listed alongside such well-known hazards as lead, mercury, and arsenic. Developmental neurotoxins at high enough levels can cause developmental disorders and are particularly hazardous to fetuses and young children whose brains are still developing. Dr. Philippe Grandjean and Dr. Philip J. Landrigan, the authors of the study, are advocating for a global prevention strategy to control what they call a “pandemic of developmental neurotoxicity.” They also believe that there are still undiscovered industrial neurotoxins and state that chemicals that have not been tested for neurotoxicity should not automatically be presumed safe for brain development.

In addition to the fluoride warnings published in the journal, a recent meta-analysis from Harvard found a correlation between fluoridated water and low IQ scores in children who grew up in the most fluoridated areas. Other studies have linked fluoridation to certain types of cancer. Again, these are mere correlations, but they are consistently strong and warrant further investigation. Mandatory fluoridation has been banned in many countries across the world, including most of Europe, where the addition of chemicals to the public water supply is generally viewed as unethical, especially when there is no significant health benefits. However, fluoride is still commonly added to the public water supplies of most of North America.

A high-quality water filter installed in your home can help eliminate, or at least reduce, the amount of fluoride you and your family are exposed to on a daily basis. Also, write a letter to your local government officials relaying your concerns over the fluoridation of the public water supply. Educate yourself first to see if your city’s water is fluoridated. -Dr. Edward F. Group III, DC, ND, DACBN, DCBCN, DABFM

Interesting information about fluoride. All the water supply in Australia is fluoridated & Australian children haven't been found to be disadvantaged because of it. And there are people monitoring it, there are a few here who think it is a terrible idea.

There was one town council in Queensland who voted against adding fluoride to the city water supply. They were shown to have the worst teeth in Australia. Kids had teeth rotting out of their head, there was nowhere else anywhere in Australia who had teeth anywhere like it.

There was a revolt by the parents who overwhelmingly voted to have the council's decision reversed.

It will be a very long time before any other council ever gets the idea to ban fluoride from their local water supply. At least not any time this century.

I don't know anything about Bernie Sanders. I will keep my eyes open for his name to come up. If he talks sense it is bound to come up. Interested observers outside America are always keen to talk up American politicians who come across as sensible.

The last guy who received that treatment was Ron Paul. I really got to like his no-nonsense approach.

Is Bernie anything like him?

Bernie is much more of a liberal.....exactly what we need to run this country......in fact, he's a declared socialist, the only one in the senate or the House. Hell,  the far right have been calling THIS guy {Obama} a communist and a socialist and he's  a centrist democrat at best! Who has been leaning more and more right during his term, pushed by the  republicans......and no one has ever been more hated than this guy has.

So imagine if a true, declared Socialist ran? Again, no real chance. Vermont is a hippie-dippy state with a lot of transplanted New Yawk liberals, his schtick works well there;  it will never play in Georgia and Mississippi and Texas, etc.....

Perfect ticket;  Sanders and Elizabeth Warren from Mass.  Or, in an even more perfect world, Bernie Sanders runs this country for 8 years then Warren takes over.  In 16 years we may finally be a normal country again, they could reverse all the far-right trickle down NONSENSE done since the Saint Reagan era.

Most US Americans have NO idea what socialism is, and have been brain washed into thinking it means "communism". Mean while over at the corporate welfare centre the real robbers are making out like the bandits they are.

Remember the Tea party signs with "Keep your socialist hands off my Medicare"

well, that's the thing......TEA party freaks and their brethren are absolutely terrifying ......read the comments on a website like Breitbart.com or World Net Daily sometime;  they call Obama a communist or even a socialist; can anyone tell me how the stock market keeps setting records on a daily basis under a ''communist'' president?

Damn shame this country is half weirdo's and half normal people....and if you ask those right-wing weirdo's about the other half, they say WE are the weirdo's!  The 2 sides will never meet, and that's why this country will always be a mess.

This Canadian is surprised and confused as to why America would vote against a guy who has made America better; and he didn't even mention health care for all; because, well, Canada already has that.

Don't worry Canadian guy, normal and rational yanks agree with you.  It's the losers in flyover country who want to take this country back to the awesome years we had under W.

http://www.addictinginfo.org/2014/11/09/baffled-canadian-writes-to-u-s-voters-after-midterm-you-dont-know-how-good-you-have-it-with-obama/

''Many of us Canadians are confused by the U.S. midterm elections. Consider, right now in America, corporate profits are at record highs, the country’s adding 200,000 jobs per month, unemployment is below 6%, U.S. gross national product growth is the best of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) countries. The dollar is at its strongest levels in years, the stock market is near record highs, gasoline prices are falling, there’s no inflation, interest rates are the lowest in 30 years, U.S. oil imports are declining, U.S. oil production is rapidly increasing, the deficit is rapidly declining, and the wealthy are still making astonishing amounts of money.

America is leading the world once again and respected internationally — in sharp contrast to the Bush years. Obama brought soldiers home from Iraq and killed Osama bin Laden.

So, Americans vote for the party that got you into the mess that Obama just dug you out of? This defies reason.

When you are done with Obama, could you send him our way?''

They are primarily focused on their own immediate needs such as jobs, taxes, security and other issues that they perceive to be of importance to their daily lives. They are not concerned with—or fail to see—how the political, economic and military policies implemented globally by the government they elect negatively impact many people around the world. Consequently, there is little chance of Americans voting against what they perceive to be their own interests for the benefit of a majority of the world’s population"...

Obama tells the FCC to implement real net neutrality. And he's serious.

(Gigaom): https://gigaom.com/2014/11/10/obama-tells-the-fcc-to-implement-real-net-neutrality-and-hes-serious/

"Proving himself the policy nerd who pundits deride, President Obama

has issued a comprehensive statement on network neutrality that covers

all of the points left uncovered in his generic praise for the policy

a few weeks back. The president is calling for the FCC to implement

Title II rules from the Telecommunications Act of 1934, which is what

the ISPs view as the nuclear option when it comes to network

neutrality rules. Such rules would seek to prevent ISPs from blocking

or slowing lawful content on both their last mile networks and at

interconnection points. The president also called for network

neutrality rules to apply to wireless networks, something that the

original Open Internet Order from 2010 didn't even do. These are some

pretty big calls for actions, and so far the ISPs aren't impressed."

Ted Cruz Lashes Out Against Net Neutrality, Calls It 'Obamacare For

"Never missing an opportunity to remind America how much he resents

Obamacare, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) took to Twitter Monday to lash out

against President Barack Obama's net neutrality endorsement by

comparing it to the health care law."

The Twitter responses to Cruz's tweet make for interesting reading.

I even added my own, which -- for the sake of decorum -- I will not

I could not give a fuck less what that woman says about this or any energy drink. All I need to do is read the list of ingredients and I can pretty well know this is not something healthy to ingest in the body. Consume at your own peril

Explanations anyone??

It was "so hot" the black boxes vaporised??

there are so many unanswered questions re 9/11...for instance,.i'd still like to have it explained why biuilding 7 fell down when nothing hit it.....BUT,(this point i cannot get past) I cannot for the life of me see how those building could have been rigged for demo and blown up by the US government,AND KEPT IT QUIET)....impossible......One thing ive always wondered...Why were the architects ot the twin towers (and building 7)not prosecuted for producing such shoddy work....?

Who said the work was shoddy. For IT'S TIME it was a masterpiece of slide rule engineering.

Access to ALL of the buildings was VERY EASY. All the lift shafts were being refurbished which gave unfettered access to all structural areas.

Why don't you look at the 911 Engineers for truth material www.ae911truth.org/ unless you think it's too "loony toon" to question the "official" work. If you cripple or limit the "terms of reference" you can always get the results you desire. "Nothing to see here... move along".

We already have a group here who think SEALS should just STFU NO MATTER what. Ex Mil like "Blackwater" etc. Who said "the government" did it? Who got the insurance money? ALWAYS "follow the money".

No ,its just too incredible for me to believe.....there was only a handful of seals involved in the killing of OBL,yet they couldn't keep that quiet......the scale of 9/11 must have involved hundreds ,maybe thousands of people....how on earth could that have been hushed up?....i call impossible on that one...( I do believe there was prior knowledge of it tho'....i think the "dancing israelis" seen celebrating knew a lot more than they admitted)
