We report, you decide

American news services don't report exit polls while voting booths are still open. I gather that is a law but all I know is that our news reports include the message that they are giving us information not available in the US.

And the journalists here are calling the election for Obama.

For Romney to get to a 269 tie without Ohio he would need to carry Nevada. Unlikley.

AND Colorado, Virginia, Iowa, Florida, and Virginia.

Lefty curious what the tone is like on the channel you're watching bro?

I assume you are not forced to watch Fox like me.

Not forced to watch Faux News. You could watch the BBC though. :)

Wins Iowa and Nevada.

That means Romney must run the table, Ohio and Colorado and Virginia and Florida to win.

Not to mention North Carolina.

There was a young maiden named Alice

Who used a dynamite stick as a phallus

They found her vagina

in North Carolina

And the rest of poor Alice in Dallas.

Moral of the story: Her vagina may be in Carolina but the heart of rock n roll is in Cleveland.

Obama is well ahead in Ohio & Romney is slipping back in Florida. Whatever that means.

There are TV heads here saying that Obama can win even if he loses Ohio. One guy predicted over 300 college votes to Barack.

They are going to look foolish if they are wrong. As for me, I am only the messenger.

There once was a man from Nantucket

Who's cock was so long he could suck it

He said with a grin

While wiping his chin

If my ear were a hole i could fuck it.

How in the hell can they predict he won Nevada when the Nevada polls just closed a few minutes ago...

Statistical Methodology:

Exit poll in key districts.

Then when the first real results come in from a polled district, check those results against the exit polls looking for systemic bias.

If no systemic exit poll bias is detected, it's then assumed that the exit polling methodology is correct and the exit poll data can be extrapolated to the rest of the state.
