3 Possible 2023 Candidates for the Romscars Hall of Legends

I endeavor every year to add 1 or 2 mongers to my Romscars Hall of Legends and in doing so I try do it on the basis of documented merit.  Problem is that I am more familiar with the merits of some mongers than of others and the bias has been towards the more recently active on the field of play and online.  But I have inducted a few of the oldies (Captain Outrageous, Stealth) including 2 I never met (Ernesto, Paultain).

This year I am thinking of inducting 1 or 2 of the ladyboy boards pioneers and would ask BMs for help with their background and in picking one.  These are the 3 I have in mind and what I know about them:

JAIDEE -  All I know is that he is the guy who set up the first semblance of a ladyboy board at the Asian TS porn site and he did it in the free access part of the site after he (?) launched it in 2001. Prior to that, there had been a Yahoo Group, but Yahoo groups did not allow for the kind of recorded multilogue on different topics that an online board does.

STOGIE BEAR -  I know that he joined Jaidee at Asian TS and took over the mini-board management making it more technically advanced with subforums and user friendly to upload pics which greatly expanded membership to the point that the mini-board detached from the Asian TS domain and became the first truly full fledged ladyboy board TheLadyboyForums (TLF) which dominated the online scene until Stogie got greedy and made it a pay site and BMs scattered to other more recently launched boards that remained free.

FRANCK - The bar owner of the short-lived Club 131 on soi Yamato (2007?) is credited with being the first bar owner to actively promote his bar online on the abovementioned TLF where he uploaded many photos of his ladyboy staff.  Such active participation by bar owners would eventually become the main draw of ladyboy boards, namely the one who has come to dominate the scene despite being moderated by thickos. Franck was also a bit of a rogue character allegedly fucking all his ladyboys and borrowing from customers who never saw their money back.  He is even said to have faked his own death.

So if any BMs knows a little more about any of these 3 oldies please share and let us know who you would pick. 

For starters anyone knows if they are alive? They've all gone silent online...

Mongeringwise how were they?  I know Franck fucked every sissy that moved, but the other 2?  were they in relationships or also players ?

Honestly I don't even know how to start drawing any of them for the little charicature portrait that accompanies my Hall of Legends inductions...

jaidee  is /was a great guy. Ernesto a very nice well read gentleman.

Last I heard Stogie was living somewhere upcountry.  He came up in conversation the other day in a visit to Cindy's as the first time I met Cindy was at a party in his house. Franck is/was quite the rogue.  Being a natural extrovert he was an excellent bar host.  If you weighted a bar's legendary status by years of operation giving extra credit to famous bars with a short life span then Franck's Club 131 with the iconic wallpaper and hot ladyboys would be the winner. Operated as a ladyboy bar for just nine months, it was the 2007 watering hole for the Pattaya ladyboy monger crowd.

I was also inclined to pick Jaidee out of the 3 of them.  It's not easy for me to weigh the legendaryness of pornographer sexpat machines who are quiet online (like the Captain Outrageous) against mere come-and-go mongers who are active and popular on the ladyboy boards (like Duke for example). Jaidee is one such pornographer (AsianTS) who is quiet online for years but used to be one of the main voices and who pioneered the online ladyboy boarding for everyone else.  I guess I am going to have to track his posts here and in the TLF to learn a little bit more about him...

Therefore, Stogie will not make it this year and neither will Franck who I met once and only once at his Club 131 where I saw this most beautiful sissy who I did not barfine and never got a second chance because I had my reasons not to go back to Club 131. Then on my following trip Club 131 had folded and I saw her on Walking Street and at Marine Disco but it never worked out for me.  When I saw her alone I'd be with company.  And when I was alone she did not turn up or already had hitched a farang.  Does anyone know who I am talking about?  Gorgeous.  Lily-grade gorgeous. I forgot her name...

Perhaps Club 131 should have been my Bar of the Year pick for 2007.  But that year there was also this other shortlived bar at Sunee Plaza called Minou that also only lasted a few months, Perhaps for legal reasons it was shut down along with another one nearby from the same French owner.  Does anyone else remember Minou?

I apologize if my opinion may differ, and I hope to maintain a positive atmosphere here. However, I must express that I find this thread to be somewhat disappointing. When I read of ladyboys board pioneers, I was thinking about community members who have explored the scene since the end of the Covid pandemic, rather than focusing on the three individuals who disappeared by 2010, as the discussion initially unfolded. As a result, only a couple more members may truly grasp the discussion. It feels reminiscent of a conversation among long-time members in a community room. I don't think that any of the three would be aware or inclined to have been nominated.

So, instead of dealing with the subject as one of the Romscars' prices why not open a thread dealing with each of them. This would be an opportunity of creating 3 new threads alike the thread dealing with 'the apeman' and invite those who had met one of these guys to add specific comments and even, why not photos and gossips on Pattaya at that time.
I find it sad to 'reward' old legends and not encourage new members who post new stuff on ladyboys (eg Dan Miller). Just my 2 cents.

I welcome PG's views and noted his effort to express them diplomatically.

All I can justify is that I try to make the Romscar Hall of Legends a credible exercise and to that effect:

1- Halls of Fame in general (rockn roll, footbal, country music, etc) don't just induct new members as soon as they reveal a spark of exceptional talent.  Rather the induction are after a solid track record or career and in many cases posthumously.

2 - I can't just give Romscars to monger pals of mine.  Mostly I gave to mongers I never met or interacted with online, and in one case I awarded one to one of the PY mods who 'unanimously' banned me. He deserved it hands down and banning me did not erase his other deeds. 

*** We had a case here in this board of a popular BM who I did not nominate personally but got the Romscar by acclamation, only to stop participating here not long after.  

3 - There are a few BMs here at LBR worthy of Romscar consideration including you PG who shares unique intel of Viet Nam and other non-Thailand countries. If I keep doing the Romscars I may well pick them in future years.

4 - Jaidee is an obvious candidate for the Hall of Legends for being the pioneer of ladyboy boards.  If he hadnt done it, someone else would have done it sooner or later, but being the first is what legends are all about ... He also had one of the first erotic websites with ladyboys.  Not many punters can show that.

5 - A couple BMs instantly expressing support for Jaidee was also a factor in my decision.
