  1. He sure is and gets my vote. I'd write more about him but he's a very private person. Last I heard Stogie was living somewhere upcountry. He came up in conversation the other day in a visit to Cindy's as the first time I met Cindy was at a party in his house. Franck is/was quite the rogue. Being a natural extrovert he was an excellent bar host. If you weighted a bar's legendary status by years of operation giving extra credit to famous bars with a short life span then Franck's Club 131 with the iconic wallpaper and hot ladyboys would be the winner. Operated as a ladyboy bar for just nine months, it was the 2007 watering hole for the Pattaya ladyboy monger crowd.
  2. Teya's birthday bash is always fun. Besides Emmy's Kittens, many of Teya's ladyboy mates will be attending as she's a sociable girl with lots of friends.
  3. It really was delicious. Usually Emmy uses a caterer but the girls cooked for this get together. I was told may cooked the noodles and Dada the chicken, both outstanding. The Christmas tree is probably one of the most tastefully decorated in the Greater Pattaya. Nice pic of Teya wielding her thick pok pok stick!
  4. Since Cindy's Secrets Pattaya and Peachy Lilly are operated by very well known ladyboys and opened within weeks of each other there will be inevitable comparisons. I paid a visit last night to both venues. Here are some quick observations but note these bars are contenders for the 2024 Romscars and not the 2023 Romscars which is what this thread is really about. Cindy's is a chill bar with spread out out tables and appealing decor. We sat outside next to the caricatures of some of the staff which I thought was well done and haven't seen in a ladyboy bar before. Was chatting with Cindy who is very friendly and sets a good tone for the bar. A friend asked about Areeya and Cindy said Areeya was ther a coupe of nights ago but is now back in Bangkok. It's actually my second visit; had a beer about a week ago very early around 7PM before the bar got going. I sat at the bar and Joy the bartender was friendly in a very nice way. She seemed to be trying hard to be be a good host rather than trying to just get a drink or a customer. Last night we were sitting outside; the small unnamed soi is a pleasant place to sit. I liked the music and actually Shazamed two songs which were house remixes of old songs. Peachy Lily's is on the very busy and high rent LK Metro. It's a small indoor bar which was previously Pandora which was by far the smallest LK gogo. I get the impression that Lily's joint is more hands on but probably not with Lily herself. There is also a very small stage area in the back where two or maybe three ladyboys can dance so it's kind of like a hybrid gogo/lounge bar. I get the impression it can be a very energetic place. My beer was 90 baht at Cindy's and 99 baht at Lily's. But I suppose the big expenses at either place are the ladydrinks and barfines. My mate bought a 165 ladydrink at Cindy's. He also bought a drink for a beautiful Burmese ladyboy at Lily's but I didn't catch the price. Don't know the price of barfines in either place. Probably the biggest question is whether or not Cindy's girls expect Bangkok prices if going to your room. But for many it's all about the girls which is also a matter of taste. Although it seems Cindy's has a core staff sometimes it's supplemented by Bangkok staff especially for party nights. Everyone should try both joints they aren't far from each other. You might like different bars on a different nights depending on your mood. The music volume is lower at Cindy's. If you like shooting pool Cindy's is the winner as Lily's doesn't have a pool table. Both bars have lots of positive qualities; time will tell which one is more successful.
  5. For anyone going to Chiang Mai, be very careful at karaoke bars. I heard more than one report of extreme overcharging and strong armed enforcement. Personally, I would avoid them completely.
  6. Sorta a lucky draw with some getting 100 and others 500 or 1000.
  7. Is the rumour true that Quinn will be dressed as Santa?
  8. On December 21st, 2023, Thai national media publicly reported the results of the meeting of the Thai House of Representatives on four bills of the Equal Marriage Act, the votes were 369:10 approving the first agenda with 1 abstention. Meanwhile, Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin posted on X, formerly Twitter, regarding the approval of the equal marriage bill, in which he congratulated the LGBTQIA+ community with overwhelming votes in favor and said the first step of change has begun. https://thepattayanews.com/2023/12/22/thai-house-of-representatives-overwhelmingly-approves-first-draft-of-equal-marriage-bill/
  9. Of the four you posted yesterday, this one is easily my favorite.
  10. Merry Christmas! Emmy Bar is having a small Christmas party. The short time room will be available for those who want to get fisted by Santa's helpers. Have a cum-White Christmas!
  11. 10 years ago I stayed at the Raming Lodge and was happy with the hotel and location. It's on Loi Kroh Road which has some beer bars with ladies. Shamrock Ladyboy Bar was there; have no idea if it still exists or is a ladyboy bar. There are some beer bars surrounding a boxing ring on Loi Kroh which is interesting. Raming Lodge is a very short walk to the Old City. There are red songthaews similar to the Pattaya Baht Busses which are cheap. Link To Raming Lodge I liked the vibe of Chiang Mai although P4P venues are somewhat limited. Maybe you'll find a beautiful Burmese ladyboy with thick 8 inches!
  12. Very nice! I wonder if that flight path is chosen to please passengers? Did you see other pyramids on your flight?
  13. if pressed to name just one show, I'd probably say that The Wire is my all time favorite. The data released by Netflix shows The Night Agent as their favorite show. Only one season, ten episodes so far. I watched the series twice and think most of you will enjoy it.
  14. Seldom has a single song and dance turned into a collective act of civil disobedience. It all started with an old man at a fish market in the northern city of Rasht in late November. Dressed in a white suit the man, Sadegh Bana Motejaded, 70, who owns a small market stall energetically swayed and bopped. He serenaded the crowd with a folk song and encouraged others to join in with some joyous noise — helheleh kon, velveleh kon. A small group of men clapped, shouting back the rhythmic chorus,“ “oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.’ The video of him dancing and singing at the market went viral when Mr. Aghapour reposted a remix of the song with techno beats with video of the original dance from a local blogger who had appeared in the video and posted it on his Instagram page.
  15. It was a good night at Emmy's. A completely passable European transwoman and her boyfriend were hanging out there. A very nice couple. I'm sure they'll have a wonderful time in Thailand.

  17. Pattaya bars can now legally operate until 4 AM. The official legal area for 4AM closings will be central Pattaya, from Third Road to the beach, to Dolphin Roundabout to Bali Hai Pier. At this time, Jomtien, Naklua, and the Darkside are not included.
  18. If you are having these issues, I strongly suggest the solution that worked for Soju. Here is a link to CCleaner. https://www.ccleaner.com/
