have never been to PP but an alternative I have been to many times is Fortune town, perhaps a little smaller but not as pushy and you will definitely find whatever you need there, it is right outside the Rama 9 MRT stn so probably easier to get to as well

I would be very surprised if she wouldn't travel to Bkk , it is very close afterall, would probably cost a fair bit though, I know she asks 3000 St in Pattaya (basically Bkk rates)
