  2. WN04 Doll of the Day The backstory on today's Doll of the Day is as follows: Last weekend a group of us were in WN04 and Notto was wearing an outfit that looked so gorgeous on her, it just had to be shared with fellow BMs. Fast forward 7 days and Nam took a great set of pics which I'll post over the next 2 days. Please say hello to Notto, a girl who is both gorgeous and well-known, and models this outfit par excellence. If there was an award for sexiest outfit of the month, Notto would surely be the winner in this rig! Notto Photo Credits to Nam

  4. The hysteria is total. She gets great reviews. Insanely big production. I talked to a couple from Wisconsin tonight, huge fans. It was their first visit to Sweden and were very very happy.
  5. Yes it is. Yes, it is. The issue is that the VN scene is somewhat too peaceful. By the way, I began seriously exploring countries outside of Thailand after feeling that the Thai scene was becoming either unsafe, rife with scams, or plagued by excessively high prices.
  6. Here's the complete set this time.
  7. probably early 2000s pop, R&B for me. Mix of Backstreet Boys, Eminem, Usher etc. Isan songs really get the girls in the groove tho -- so a fair bunch of that mixed in too
  8. What music genres do you like to listen to at bar parties? Do you have any favorite party songs?
  9. I have been going to Thailand for 14 years and have always felt safe there. Certainly safer than London. There might be a bit more inter-lb friction, possibly due to more substance abuse which can cause aggression. Is the Vietnam scene more peaceful?
  10. WN04 Doll of the Day - New Girl! Say hello to the latest addition to the WN04 stable - Poppy (who calls herself Pokky btw). Apart from her name, the only other fact we have is that she was a recommendation from Loukpla. If she is from Lampang, that explains the fair skin. An onsite investigation is now required. I like her smile! Poppy Photo Credits to Nam
  11. Beer in the Philippines is a de facto near monopoly by San Miguel Breweries dating back to colonial times. There is another national level brewery allowed by Marcos in the 1980s that produces Beer Na Beer that enjoyed some popularity until like 10 (?) years ago but has gradually become almost impossible to find in bars. I think they now focus on producing foreign brands (Tiger, Heineken, Asahi, Colt 45,...) under license... The international success of SanMig Light over the last 20 years has made it that not many brands in the world can compete with San Miguel breweries. Even in Thailand the beer of choice of ladyboys and bargirls has become almost invariably SanMig Light... at the expense of the Thai brands. In the Philippines market, San Miguel breweries produces all the top brands across the different categories: San Miguel Pilsen - their historic lager (5% alcohol). As far as I can tell, it is nowadays more of a working class "guys' " beer... never saw a GG or sissy pick it over other choices. Red Horse Beer - PH's strong alcohol content beer 6.9% a favorite of the sissies and bargirls who want to reach drunkenness fast. Street drunkards in general are seen holding liter bottles of it. San Mig LIGHT - the blockbuster and default beer. 'nough said. 5% alcohol and 100 calories Cerveza Negra - my personal favorite and one of the best dark beers in the world. Also 5%. You won't find it in most bars and even the ones that carry it often the waitresses are not aware and I have to insist. In recent years, San Miguel Breweries started offering more beers along with drinkers more specific preferences: San Miguel ZERO - a misleading name since it has neither zero alcohol (3%) nor zero calories (60). I guess zero calories would be an impossibility. It would be water. San Miguel FREE - another misleading name but it is Alcohol Free (0%) with 60 calories. I am starting to like it because it has an ale taste, which is something I can discern and enjoy in the latest generation of alcohol-free beers. Probably has to do with the fermentation of the beer sugars. San Miguel APPLE - The first of 3 fruit-flavored beers it has become very popular and can be found in almost all bars. (3%; 133 calories) San Mig LEMON - Not all bars carry it. Also 3%. Yes it is comparable to a shandy. But in my country they call shandies "panache" and mix the beer with seven-up which gives it a more sweet, bubbly flavor. I prefer San Mig Lemon which is mixed with a more subtle lemonade concoction. San Mig LYCHEE - A recent addition (experiment?) and in the last 2 years of traveling all over the PH I only once saw it offered in a bar (in Coron!). Also 3%. I have only seen it in the supermarkets and the Manila 7-11s (bottles and cans). 7-11s elsewhere you might find the cans, which in the PH are 30-40% more expensive than bottles. Not that I would want to have it all the time, but I always liked lychees and really enjoy the San Mig Lychee difference and drink it every chance I get which is not often... Cheers all. Hope this was of some interest.
