Stroker
People get banned or barred from various places all the time. Usually for behavior that is against the general rules of the establishment, organization etc. So how would you react if you were kicked out of a society, club, bar, forum etc. Would you try your hardest to get back in or would you just adopt a "fuck them" attitude and move on? 1 Quote Link to comment
SiamSam
I would just accept their decision even if I thought they were incorrect in their judgement or reason for my dismissal. I figure once people feel you don't fit in (for whatever reason) they seldom will change their mindset. Like an ex-wife or partner. Quote Link to comment

Pdoggg
For me, it's more like a self ban. I have a problem with a business. I complain. There's bad vibes. So I feel uncomfortable going back. I get banned from the New York Times constantly as you can only read 10 articles a month. So I just clear the Times cookies and I'm back in. 2 Quote Link to comment
BuzzKill
Some of my buddies got into fisty cuffs in bar last year and we all got barred. I used to like the joint but I wasn't going to lower my dignity and ask to be allowed back in. Fuck em as stroker said above. Quote Link to comment
dixon cox
Depends from what or from where it was I got banned. If it was a forum then I'd re-appear under the radar using a pseudonym via a VPN. After a while innocently fitting in like a newbie I'd drop the occasional fart in a thread just for the hell of it, but I'd likely quickly become bored with that and stop bothering soon afterwards. It's more a case of knowing that I could if I wanted. Regarding a venue, such as one in Pattaya, I doubt I'd miss any place too much as options are plentiful and varied and I'm not that desperate to be anywhere in particular any more. My friends and I have various places to socialise so I'd just attend the others when it suits. I find it unlikely that I'd be banned from anywhere I particularly liked anyway. But if I did fuck something-up then I'd apologise. If the recipient of the apology was too much of a dick-head to get over himself and accept the apology and continued to act like a petulant immature child then I'd be glad to be rid of the place, particularly him, anyway. 3 Quote Link to comment

TEXASMAC
I am amazed that as much as I like to drink an adult beverage, I have never been banned. If it happens I will move on. I did stay in a hotel one week ago where the housekeeper took some of my items and they said they would not post my review. Quote Link to comment
Topcat72m
I got barred from a pub once about 20 years ago. I totally deserved it. I never went back. Quote Link to comment
TEXASMAC
If we have do we go back and say " I am sorry" ? Quote Link to comment
xyzzy
I knew a guy that got banned from Happy A GoGo years ago. He had quite the reputation for having major brain farts when drunk. He went to the restroom and all the urinals were busy so he pissed in the sink. I don't think they ever let him back in. Quote Link to comment
Gutsy
This thread brings up a funny memory. I used to frequent CIB from the time it was just an alcocart bar on Sukhumvit Soi 5 until the Soi 7 location. In my opinion it was a great bar, unfortunately the minority owner meddled with the with my enjoyment so I stopped going. I made a point to let BM's on forums know that and reported on where I too my regular business. That was in August of 2014. I only visited one other time on one of my favorites Birthday (Dec 7th, 2014). Then about 4 months later, the minority owner posted on Pattaya Ladyboys Forum, and also told other customers that I was banned. Quite funny when I thought about it. What did I get banned for? No longer going? Reporting on where I took my business? Outing him as meddling paranoid prick. It's also quite funny how no one I knew ever went there for him, although I knew of plenty of BM's on several forums who didn't go there specifically because of him. So I guess I'm banned although I didn't plan on going back. It reminded me of the old you can't break up with me because I breaking up with you. In my home country I once got cut off one night at my favorite bar by my favorite bar tender there. I went back the next night and he bought me my first drink and noted how wasted I was the previous night. I quipped "I've been far more hammered than that in this bar," I had total recall of the evening and remember going to a couple more bars before closing time..Anyway no hard feelings on either side and it never happened again. 2 Quote Link to comment
iceberg
I got barred from a pub once about 20 years ago. I totally deserved it. I never went back. I've been barred for a month in certain bars back home, but they let me back in after a few days because I spent more money than most patrons so money ruled over being mad at me! LOL seriously if you are a good customer most places are going to forgive! Quote Link to comment
