Rom
...as far a I know he was never a BM here at LBR but he was one of the good ones at the other board. He was always kind to me online and in person and I liked him and I remember seeing him around the bars since the 2000s. When I posted at PY mentioning him I would playfully call him "The Godfather of Buakhao" for his doyenship amongst the ladyboy mongers mafia that we are. The name was Alan and he leaves a farang widow with whom he shared a lifetime of the swinging lifestyle. If I could join the chorus of mourners at PY I would re-post some of the cartoons I did of him, which I will do here instead and if any BM in good standing at PY would like to re-post them there please feel free to do so: So long Alan.
Quietguy
I didn't know him personally, but read of him on the other forum. He had a good innings and enjoyed himself. I'd think it will be difficult for his wife now, but I know Petesie and other lbp bms will do what they can. RIP Oldlover.
Rom
A thoughtful BM here and at PY re-posted one of my cartoons along with a small message of condolences redacted from my OP above. Thank you thoughtful and brave BM! I take this opportunity to add that I will probably be inducting oldlover into the Romscars Hall of Legends at the end of the year depending on who else gets shortlisted for the 2023 intake. I also take the opportunity to get something personal off my chest: After I posted at PY the pic below in 2017, the old bugger appropriated my trademark Baby Boom cock-stirred Martini move and made it his own: Party on Alan ! Rom
At PY it was announced 3 hours ago that Alan's cremation will be at 1pm tomorrow August 10th at the Wat Chai Mongkhon Temple which is the big temple on the South Pattaya Road, near to 2nd Road. All are invited to attend. There is also a fundraiser of sorts and if anyone wants to contribute, look it up at PY yourself or give the cash to Petesie who has been extremely supportive of Alan in his last moments and in the subsequent arrangements... May he rest in peace...
