When I was flying to Europe quite a bit, I always used Emirates. That was a few years ago and they were great. Then slowly they started to falter. Had a few things go wrong with service on a couple of flights and i just lost interest. Since going to LOS I use Thai or Singapore. Both very good. maybe Singapore just shades Thai, but not by much.

That is some serious foreskin on Isabely!!!. What a shame as she is far better looking otherwise.

Might give it a try next month. Staying in the area with a LB. Although after my last experience with taking a LB friend to Baby Boom, I will tread a bit more carefully!!! She seemed to resent my attention to another LB. Don't know why?.

Just as an add on. My LB and I noticed the advertising billboards on some of the baht buses for the Electric Blue A Gogo. 50 Beautiful girls and some ugly ones!!!!!!. Think I was the only customer he had all day. 200b with a 100b tip. He even took me to a furniture store so I could buy a mattress topper. My LB's bed was lousy!. Anyway you get the drift. It was quiet. They are all hoping it picks up soon otherwise it does not look good for the locals.Whether the Govt restrictions are hurting I do not know, but a girl I talked to said she was scared to take a guy to her room in case he was undercover. Already been fleeced by police who stopped her on her motorbike and got some money off her. My observations on the visitors that were there. Home countries in ranking would be, probably in equal numbers, Russian,Chinese, and Indians. The expats from the old empire seem to be diminishing. British a few,Australian,Kiwis, are few and far between. Still worth a visit but in Dec-March when the weather is better. Think I will be there!.

Not exactly on topic but I am just booking a ticket to BKK. From where I live in Aus it is a stopover flight. Amazing to see the variation in fares with the cheapest also the quickest. You do have to add $100.00 for checked baggage which brings it up to just under the luggage inclusive fares, but some of these have total travel times of 2-3 times as long as the cheapest!!!.Why anybody would buy one of those fares beggars belief. My thoughts about air travel are to spend the least amount of time possible in one of those aluminium cigar tubes, especially with screaming kids around which seems to be more common these days. Not forgetting the stopovers which can last 4-5 hours!. I did not go with the cheapest but with Singapore Airlines as I was able to get a combined flight which takes only an hour more, and I will be flying with one of the best airlines.

Funny, I went there on the Friday night the 5th with my LB friend. Don't know about baht buses getting a raw deal but try getting a taxi from the Northern bus depot down to Central Pattaya like I had to a few weeks ago. Ended up getting the driver of a baht bus to take me there. Tried waving a taxi down but none would stop. Was told by the driver that they will not stop in that area for a reason I cannot remember. Don't know what I would have done if I had not got the baht bus
