if you get the air asia flight from Bangkok it lands at 16.25 , by the time you get out of the airport its rush hour , traffic is very heavy . worth paying a couple more dollars for a taxi rather than a tuk tuk .

does not sound too good mate , was looking to a visa run either Vientiane or angeles city ,wanted to stay five or six days at either of these places . not sure Vientiane worth it unless your in udon thanni , hear lot of bad reports about angeles city , as well as airline problems getting to clark , e.g. Cebu service finished tiger unreliable . so it looks like phnom penh for me have been there before so not a problem , and has got a pretty good ladyboy scene although smaller than anything in Thailand .

yes sam they are return flights , mostly Tuesday & Wednesday , if you want weekend dates add another £100 - £150 , can get eva direct for that .

well spotted pdogg just checked it out plenty of dates available although for £465 you have to fly midweek , Etihad is a decent airline , the stopovers are good times as well , only a couple of hours in abu dhabi .

hi gents need information on Vientiane , is there much to do there in daytime , is there a bar scene nightlife , hotels that are ladyboy friendly , and do they accept dollars and baht or just local currency , any help would be appreciated thanks jeffs

kin hell lung that was some night , at least you got your bike back undamaged , I stated in different thread that I gave up bikes in Thailand years ago mostly because the danger side , but now all these bib scams going on its just getting to expensive to buy your way out , like you said good warning to others having a few beers when riding can be costly , ride free and enjoy your new bike .
